On Friday the test day was stopped for a couple of hours due to an engine work. I have no details what went wrong, but I know the engine was removed from the car. However, the test day continued for the last light hours normally. Yesterday the engine failed right after lunch break. Mikkelsen drove normally to the other end of the test road, then slower back and eventually the car was towed to service and the team packed up. Anyone know whe VW are testing this week. 2x 2017 cars just drove past me in Abergavenny South Wales. Seems strange they wernt on lorries though. We are about 20 miles from nearest ex rally GB stages
