Yes, it is his home rally as he lives and is born in Sulingen. Lara Vanneste is again his co-driver, so she gives him extra speed. :D

There were accidents of Dutch drivers Dennis Kuipers (#2, Impreza WRX STI N15) and Jasper van den Heuvel (#4, Lancer Evo 10 R4). Also Peter van Merksteijn jr. (#1, Fiesta S2000) retired with a mechanical problem. The roads there are most of the time wet and dirty.

Kobus lost his lead because he hit something and then the radiator leaked. Wevers is fighting back, a shame we already lost 3 favorites.

The third stage was cancelled after the accident of Dennis Kuipers.
