On the pics of this morning technical scruteneering of Rally Ciocco you can clearly see Michelini and Gamba also have 2012 spec. 207 S2000s
Rallylink - verifiche
Ucci won the 1st stage.. but the gap was really small... nice!!!
Rally FICr
Andreucci wins the PS2, the Rally del Ciocco.
Standings after 2 PS
Andreucci-Andreussi (207 S2000)
Scandola - D'Amore (Skoda S2000) to 4'' 9
Perico - Carrara (207 S2000) to 7'' 6
Michelini - Giusti (207 S2000) 1 to 9''
Leg - English (207 S2000) 7 to 10''
Retreats Rendina (Lancer Evo X), Moricci (Lancer R4).
Fantastic !!! Now with evo 12 207 even a privateer(like Perico)can threat Ucci's contenders(like Scandola) :D
Last year there was Ucci + Rox + the rest quite far behind...now gaps are reduced :)
Michelini at ss4?
Michelini off road(crew OK) :(
In 2WD Sciessere leading in his Clio S1600 ahead of Ferraroti in Megane N4, Nucita in C2 R2 and Cogni in DS3 R3... ;)
Brakes problems for Campedelli on SS2(lost 2'30 by using hand brakes only) but now he's climbing back the leaderboard(15th overall after SS4) :)
6 stage wins in a row for Ucci...
Ciocco it's his home rally, but... it will be very difficult to see someone beat him this year...
So Andreucci won Ciocco ahead of Scandola and Perico :)
Sciessere won the 2WD ahead of Campedelli and Ferrarotti ;)
Junior class was won by Campedelli ahead of Nucita(fantastic in a small C2 R2!!)and Cogni...
Andrea Crugnola offers the Citroën DS3 R3 its first overall victory today at the Rally internazionale dei Laghi :)
http://www.kronosvarese.com/Archivio...412/index.html
On Rallylink press releases Crugnola is said to enter the Trofeo DS3 R3 italiano(from Conca d'Oro, gravel event held in two weeks) ;)
Stefano Albertini in second Racing Lions 207 S2000 for 5 rounds of CIR !!! :bounce:
Rumour read on Rallylink forum: Alessandro Bettega would run the Trofeo Citroën DS3 R3 this year
Anyway next week is the first round of the trofeo, on gravel(Rally Conca d'Oro)and not many times to wait before having the entrylist available ;)
Yes! He was very quick with his Clio R3, so he deserves this chance. Let's see what he can do with a stronger machine. The Mille Miglia Rally will be his trial by fire :)Quote:

Return of Renato Travaglia this coming week-end at the Rally Conca d'Oro, and he will run full season italian gravel championship in Mitsubishi Lancer GrN ;)
Entrylist Rally Conca d'Oro on RALLY CONCA D'ORO
The biggest surprise to me is Rudy Michelini in italian Citroën DS3 trophy
It should be a battle Crugnola vs Michelini with Bettega Jr as third one in this trophy ;)
Today and tomorrow test of Giandomenico Basso on Fiesta S2000 and Fiesta RRC, and also test for Alessandro Perico in Italy, Liguria... more details on TestRally.com
Why Basso testing S2000 and RRC? Deciding which he prefers for his upcoming events?Quote:

Conca d'Oro: Alessandro Bettega is beating Andrea Crugnola on the 3km long stage of today's shakedown(after 5-7 passages) :D
Overall Mauro Trentin is doing great in his new evo12 Friulmotor/Racing Lions 207, and Daniele Ceccoli is steadily improving too ;)
Massimiliano Tonso left his Fiesta for a 207 too...
Mauro Trentin is the winner of Rally Conca d'Oro.
Which country is it? :D

This week-end first round of Italian tarmac championship (TRA), rally valle d'Aosta, where is (thanks god!!) still alowed to drive proper WRC. Definetly at the start Felice Re with his C4,about all other drivers (Petrocco, Hoelbing, Fontana jun &sen, Blanc, Addis, Chentre, Porro, Silva) we have to wait one day more. The official entry list should be published on the 24th of April.
Unfortunately no more show from Luca Pedersoli, two times champion of this attractive series.
After six stages massive lead by Felice Re. He even won all stages......Go Felice, you can do it.......Quote:

Piero Longhi will drive Mini WRC in the Rally Internazionale del Taro, scheduled from May 4th to 6th in Borgo Val di Taro.
Together with Twister Corse and United Business Longhi also hopes to compete in at least 1 round of Italian Championship, again with the Mini, but this time in RRC-spec (Regional Rally Car), inspired by the fact that RRC car managed to win Rally 1000 Miglia a few weeks ago.
Entry list of the Rally Internazionale del Taro can be found here:

Good luck!
On a press release the organizers of Rally Adriatico(CIR + Trofeo Terra)confirm Giandomenico Basso sould be present there :bounce:
Good news, but this time it is 99% sure, that we can not expect any surprise in the way as Migle Miglia-Basso's driving capabilities are one class lower compare to Andreucci's on gravel! But I am happy for Giandomenico, he can fight for second-third position, it depends also a lot what will U.Scandola do.....Quote:

I think that Longhi drove Mini already last year in some events.
Mirek is right. Longhi drove the Mini WRC in TRA San Remo, Rally dell'Ossola and Monza Rally Show in 2011 and in 3 rallies this year.
Sorry guys, I had no idea about it.

Hello guys,
Mille Miglia was not the only sporting event that I saw in Italy. On my way from this rally I also visited a Serie A football match (ChievoVerona - Udinese), a cycling event, a baseball training and another motorsport event - Rally Racing Dreams in San Marino! It was one hell of a weekend! :)
