Rally San Crispino for Italian National Championship(CIR), very nice gravel stages, Andreucci in his evo 9 is showing his potential: he is fastest on today's stages, leading after stage six Piero Longhi more then 15 seconds. On this race we can see real driving skills-Basso and Rossetti can not drive as fast as Ucci, they are fast yust on tarmac stages(thanks to S2000 cars!!), but on gravel they are one step behind Andreucci.
Big surprise: in N3 class is leading our Slovenian driver Jeram with Fiesta! And this is his first ever drive on gravel stages in his life !! This is dissapointment for Italy....
Don't forget that Basso had gear box problems and Rossetti made a Spin in SS2.. they lost a lot of time.
Perico wasn't lucky with Subaru, retired in SS1 with a broken Turbo :(
Basso is going very well today!
in one stage he jumped from 11th overall to 5th :)
He was almost 20 sec. faster than Ucci...
Very Impressive!
Basso won 2 morning stages and moved to third position, behind Andreucci and Longhi...
Jep, Basso is flying... :) Go, go, FIAT boy!! :D
Aghini is going really well too..
I suppose if Basso hadn't problems yesterday, he should be in a a confortable lead... look at today stage times...
But this morning Paolo Andreucci has felt one of the same problems that Basso had yesterday. He is the first on the road, do not forget this is a gravel rally...
Jup, sweeping doesn't help. Nevertheless, on the second run it should go better...
