F1 teams send about 9.000kg of airfreight to the events, some teams more some teams less...
Ford for example on the long haul send ALL the Fiesta WRC and spares by air, don't know the exact kg, but for sure more then 9.000kg !!!
As mentioned above the 'normal stuff' (tools, jacks, tables and chairs, tents, barriers, recce cars) are send by sea to long haul events which makes more economical sense.
But talking to some of the team who does the airfreight for WRC, IF 1 more team would join in it would/could be feasible to charter a dedicated freighter plane to send the cars to the long haul events. The nr of long haul in WRC is much lower then in F1 and F1 send also lot more of TV gear around to...
