Both Mikkelsen and Neuville are very young and both very talented but I think Mikkelsen's lack of a win yet shows how tough this series is and how good it is for teaching young drivers how to drive and to help them develop.
Young drivers who are very fast but make mistakes is natural, and better than ones who are reliable but slow. The only way to learn the limits is to push them.
I think Andreas will be one of the favourites for the win on Azores. I think he is possibly slightly faster than Juho on gravel (but not on asphalt)
This morning though, Andreas wasnt pushing either. He said while it was wet he was just keeping it on the road - it was the plan before the stages had even started. Obviously he isnt as fast as Loix if he was pushing still, but its still encouraging bearing in mind Mikkelsen wont be motivated to go 100% either. I agree r.e. consistency though, but as RS says below, you can learn consistency but you cant learn speed. Neuville and Mikkelsen have the speed and only need the consistency now before they can be top quality.Quote:

Brilliant performance by Robbie Barrable too - without his incident yesterday he'd have finished right in the battle for 5th. Brilliant for someone who has never rallied abroad before (as far as I know) and is basically unknown out of Ireland and GB. Hopefully he'll get more chance now.
