Seems this time it wasnt really a fault of Abbring but because of a weak steering arm..

The Ypres Rally had started well with a better time in the first lap, but unfortunately I went out in the next and am hospitalized with a packed vertebra, I will have to take a break a few weeks minimum.
Xavier has no after-effects.

Apparently Demaerschalk car caught fire 🔥 at the finish of Zonnebeke, hope he can continue!
Rallylovers mentioning engine fire at the c3 of Demaerschalk at stage finish.
I’m very close to the finish of Zonnebeke, Yates had a very slight off and could continue.
