It is, but both the Skoda guys know their car very well, and Skoda for sure is the better car.
I am very happy about the pace of Kevin DM in the C3. If he can improve a bit, he will be at the pace of Princen and Verschueren.
Very disappointed about Kevin A and Bouffier. Kevin A seem to brake a lot of cars...

Few photos from today. Nice fast action! Shame both Bouffier and Abbring were out very early. It's fair to say that the C3 R5 has lots of potential. Let's hope it can create some variety to the events, as in many countries it starts looking like a Skoda-cup.

Seems this time it wasnt really a fault of Abbring but because of a weak steering arm..
I hope for Bouffier his injuries are not big.

@Tom 2nd photo is astonishing!
Thanks Tom!
Just saw the video of Veybi, it was 1 corner further then where he went off the first round, I was there the first round :-) he is actually lying next to the track in the field he made before :D

A big thank you to all of you for your many messages of support!
The Ypres Rally had started well with a better time in the first lap, but unfortunately I went out in the next and am hospitalized with a packed vertebra, I will have to take a break a few weeks minimum.
Xavier has no after-effects.
But the Belgians do not lose their humor with this nice gift from home.
See you soon.

Apparently Demaerschalk car caught fire 🔥 at the finish of Zonnebeke, hope he can continue!
Rallylovers mentioning engine fire at the c3 of Demaerschalk at stage finish.
I’m very close to the finish of Zonnebeke, Yates had a very slight off and could continue.
De Maerschalck is moving on the tracking, all good then :-)
Abbring very committed, but the times aren’t coming. Of course routes are a lot dirtier!
I thought Cronin was backing off with having a good lead in MSA-BRC, but then he comes in with 3rd fastest time on SS12 !
Quite a big moment for Fernemont at our place of Zonnebeke. No time lost.
And now also Wagemans with a big moment. Williams very impressive!
Matt Edwards:
Back in Service, still having electrical issues with the wiring loom, but got good pace and closing the gap on 2nd place. Push this afternoon, back out at 12:59. @ypresrally @MSA_BRC https://t.co/TsUnQAuqMb
I’m at the finish of Reninge... very dirty last corner.
Spectator hurt 😞
Apparently it’s not so bad, just heard someone who had seen him...
Edwards now up to 2nd in MSA-BRC. :)
NEWS: Unfortunately Rhys Yates and Elliott Edmondson have withdrawn from the event.
Elliott is unwell and in no fit state to continue. Get better soon and onto the next one 👊

Duquesne has just arrived on the start of SS Vletteren. Strange.
Edwards reporting a steering problem at stage end SS15.
