Why are the roads in such bad condition? Are the new hybrid cars tearing up the roads more?
And given that Pirelli have no competition, can they not just build a tyre strong enough for the conditions with no concerns over weight? Or can no conventional tyre withstand this (ie without mousse)
Sordo saving the day for Hyundai with a solid drive, otherwise it'd be a Toyota 1-2-3.

They probably could but teams are concerned about the weight. If tyre weight goes up, they have to strengthen whole suspension assembly proportionally (engineer-guys in this forum can give you specifics).Quote:
