I had a very nice rally in Idrija . First of all , Alex Humar is fantastic in the Fabia R2 , it looks as he developed the car ! He is extremely fast and attractive , as always . About Prokop - he was not on the level of the top Yugo drivers , but I don't think anybody expected that since it a very difficult car to drive fast . Secondly , I must say it seemed to me like his Yugo isn't exactly the same spec as the first couple of Yugos . As it is a lot down on power , what can our Slovenian friends say about that ? All in all , he was good :) And I think he bought the Yugo ;)

Prokop said that to drive Yugo was one of his craziest ideas :D And also said that the stages were beautiful ;)

I'm sorry that Czech Roman Kresta (rear diff), Finn Jarkko Miettinen (gearbox), Darko Peljhan (geabox) and Aleks Humar (flat tyre) did not show their full potencial. It was a nice rally and - yes, Italian Piero Longhi is a new Slovenian Champion!

You did your maths right Mirek . Humar was really a class higher than anyone else in the rally . Also I must note that Friderik Vajnhandl , 2WD champion , has become a really good driver this year :)

And a short comment over Rally Idrija from my side, this time as a driver: I finished, came to the end, I returned the car back to the owner intact (thanks god...), we had some difficulties in the morning with a cold engine start, but otherwise the car worked perfectly. As this was my second rally on the drivers side(after seven years), the result was not important to me (and I wasn't the last).
A lot of spectators, especially on the SS in the city center. Longhi was in a class of its own, Humar is apparently best Slovenian driver, fingers crossed for him for 2012 to get back S2000 car.
And a big thank to all three Czech drivers, they were enrichment in this rally. Maybe next year they will came back with their usual cars....they are always welcome!!
