When do we reach the point (as in Texas with CART) that humans simply can't tolerate the forces exerted on them by their machines? And if we do get to that point, what do certain elements of the fan base in here do? Simply walk away from the series because their desire for increased speed cannot physically be satisfied? Or do they just enjoy the racing, regardless of what the absolute speed is?

The Absolute human limit? About 260mph at corners when the lateral G-force exceeds 5 G, as it was in Texas 2001 CART qualifications. But the safety limit is somewhere lower than 230mph.Quote:
