I know this is aimed at Brits but I would also start a new thread - someone will bite your hand off - wish it was me, but I can't plan that far ahead. God, I wish it was me....... :mad:Quote:

yay - Sultanta/Virgin managed to delete the last 30-odd laps of the Lowes races on my V+ AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!! And that was on a pre-recorded programme on Monday.
I have checked with both companies, and both blame each other - yay again for inter-company co-operation which leaves me the paying customer wondering if I should be spending the money on more kebabs instead.
:(
Sultanta do my head in. As well as being an avid NASCAR fan i also like hockey. If i record a hockey game on NASN or NASN2 i can never guarantee that ill see the end of the games. Ive now subscibed to ESPN360. 1000 regular season games On-Demand. Picture quality at full screen aint great but its the only way i can see Rangers games so needs must.

Who does your son play for?. I have a few buddys that play for the Chelmsford Chieftains. I havent played for a few years but have recently been training win a local skater hockey team. Im still trying to get my skating legs back as i havent been skating properly for donkeys years. Great fun all the same.
Was the Invicta kids lot, but he's 17 now so is slightly moving up
Well, I have to say Sky has done a pretty darn good job overall this year - pleasantly surprised with the way it has all gone.
Few hassles with recordings missing the end of races, but now I don't rely on the 'record series' button - I go into the guide and record the next two programmes too, which is daft, but has worked well.
Mr J look likes he has it all wrapped up, but really, one puncture and it's over and the puncture doesn't even have to be on his car.
Edge of seat stuff.
PS: I thnk Sky has the broadcast deal for next year too. Anyone know different?
I think Keith said the other week they are doing the same thing for next season. It really has made my year having it all live on Sky.
I'm basically just waiting for Daytona now. I dont know about anyone else but the season seemed to deflate slightly for me just after the chase started. Probably the sinking inevitability of a Jimmie 3-peat.
i have been impressed with the coverage this year. it started off a bit shakey, but after a few races and comments from viewers, it's been great. it does annoy me a bit when they are still talking and quite obviously the US commentators are already back.
i do miss the pre-race show though so i will email my request to sky for next year to show more pre-race stuff, even if it's only for the Daytona 500. i loe the 1.5 hours of stuff before the race goes green!
