2013 ERC News and Results

I think pretty much changed when Neuville signed to M-Sport. One of them lost a driver and one of them reserved another car for the whole season. If Citroen wants to continue in WRC then they must find someone for future. For how long Mikko wants to continue? He becomes 33 this summer but it will be his 12th season in WRC already. If he will not become champion in 2013 as well then there is a question - how long he bothers? Great statistics are indicating to the fact that he will not become World Champion in 2013 ;-)

What do they have to say? "yet an other crap serie" ? It's a commercial, they should attract fans...
Besides that, I think competition is better than last year IRC and ERC, so they are on their way! From 2014 there will be the new topclass, R5, and I think things will be even better then!

By the way was it mentioned here that Antonín Tlusťák and Jaroslav Orsák registered for ERC team competition? Tlusťák will drive usual Fabia S2000, Orsák Evo IX.

But there's one danger here. If Orsak is faster than the team leader, will team orders come into play? ;)

Only two remarks from my side?
- the connection to rally history at the beginning of the clip is a very good idea, but why did they stop in 1985? They should have shown at least one WRC car, they also belong to history
- the logo still sucks :)

Will Orsak drive most of the events like Antonin then?

Somewhere I read that Tlustak will do all avents and Orsak 8 or 9

I would say that it's far from being decided. If he screws first few he might stop and continue only in CZ or vice versa. I don't think that the program is fixed.
