[WRC] News & rumours (part II)

The USA has a huge car market, but only for USA made cars and some Japanese cars. European car makers have nothing to look for in the States. And as already mentioned, they do not reconice rally as a real sport, unless Loeb, Latvalla are driving around on a 1 mile track, doing some donuts and jumping. Rally USA would be 50 super special stages in footbal stadiums, like 50 times the race of Champions with a lot of cheerleaders.

thats how it is, and the comission is working on to get rallies to China etc, but it will take about 2-3 years from now.

R4 cars are in SWRC, but answer is still NO.
mtv3.fi news says that he will drive 3 events (Sardinia, Katalonia and Wales) with evoX

That would be one of the biggest entrylists ever!!

That would be great, if it would be run more like what it has been in IRC. Maybe with few more stages, but i hope it will take place early in the year so there's a chance for snow. Interesting thing is the promoter part. Eurosport has shown how it should be done in Monte, i hope North One wont screw it. Maybe they could combine their efforts to create even better show... who knows.
