Have the impression that level is a lot lower than other years, still the same competitors (without Basso maybe).Quote:

@HaCo: that is my impression too. Still a very deserved title for Andreucci/Andreussi.
I can't agree. There is no Basso and Travaglia. Last year there were also Kopecky and Signor. We lost Navarra for gravel championships, Longhi has budget problems (and he is not so fast anymore - like Cunico). Perico and Perego are just the drivers that can take the 3rd step of the podium.Quote:

I totally missed Rally Crispino as I was in hollidays out of my home until today, but what fantastic results  congratulations to Paolo, Anna and Racing Lions :bounce:
New disaster for Abarth: incredible Rox was out before SS1 :s
Edit: OK bad luck health problem for Rox :(
Also congratulations to Simone Campedelli for his 12th position at San Crispino :)
Unfortuneately not many contenders in 2WD/GrR there :mark:
Rally Coppa Città di Lucca this coming week-end ;)
46° Coppa Città di Lucca | Scuderia Balestrero
Rally FICr
100% night rally, rain expected, it'll be very difficult for the crews :s
More than 170 crews on "not yet official" entrylist, needs agreement from the CSAI(italian motorsport federation)explaining why no entrylist published yet...
Wow never knew that such rally existed it's a really night rally last stage end in the early morning. But because it's so original many love it because more than 170 crews entered.

Next week is Rally del Friuli, next and penultimate round of italian championship(CIR) :)
47° Rally del Friuli e delle Alpi Orientali
Also will be Valli del Cuneesi, counting to swiss championship ;)
Unfortuneately, being absent during the week I won't be able to follow any of them :(
Compared to last year's enty list a bit modest list. Anyway, let's hope for a nice summer weather and that the race itself will not be yust Andreucci against others.......Quote:

Interesting! Scandola was leading until SS5, where something happened and now Rossetti is a new leader, 7 seconds before Andreucci...
Yes... Scandola was doing really well.. but he had transmission problems and was forced to retire...
There is still some fire under the bonnet of Punto Grande S2000-Rossetti is leading after first day. Andreucci is close to him, third Perico almost 50 seconds behind. But surprise again-young S.Cempedelli with small DS3R3 already in the fourt place. And we are talking over CIR race!!! No ordinary village rally....But on the other hand this also shows the competition level of CIR today. One or two years ago it was unthinkable to have yust a front driven car among first ten position....Anyway, Cempedelli Nb.1 !!
I can't see who is surprised by Campedelli , just look at the cars behind him , no S2000 ... Very sad for CIR ...
Partly you are right! But if you look closer, there are few N4 cars behind him-and still N4 car is much superior against DS3R3, and even more important, Cempedelli was all the time doing same or even a bit faster times than Perego with Mini JWC RRC.Quote:

True there are a few N4s behind but Simone Campedelli is a high class driver :) As for Perego , he is the biggest dissapointment for me this year . He was a god driver in my opinion with the Evo , but the times with the Mini have been very poor throughout the whole season .Quote:

As usual, tragedies have several minutes on big news, rally sport results zero.
Italy has a bad year with big crashes and victims :-(
Last round of CIR this coming week-en, Rally San Martino di Castrozza

Dalavilla is back, nice to see him again. Who dares to bet that Cempedelli will be again among first ten places at the end????
Looks like Citroën Racing Team Italia engaged more DS3s(Ferraris added to Crugnola)in order to put more drivers between Campedelli and Nucita for the junior title
At 8.41pm starts the SSS of Rally San Martino
Rally FICr
Besttime in SSS goes to Scandola in his Fiesta, in front of Luca Rosetti.
And another fastest time for Scandola in SS2... definitely Scandola his showing an impressive pace but with consistence... that's really god for him and for CIR... let's hope he can finish this rally without any mechanical problems and see where Scandola will be at the finish line..
In ss3 Ucci, Rox and Scandola... all in the same second.. in a stage 26,87 kms stage. fantastic!
And young Crugnola is beating Campedelli for the moment in DS3 category, wich is also amazing. Crugnola has great future in front of him in my honoust opinion.
He is fast but believe his performance this year in the Fiesta Wrc Academy was quite disappointingQuote:

I think Crugnola is "at home" on this rally explaining why he's so fast
Anyway "only" 9" difference between him and Campedelli...
Also Campedelli isn't pushing at the limit.. but anyway, great performance by Crugnola!
Unfortunately Nuscita retired... now Crugnola must left Campedelli pass him to win the Jr. in this rally and also be 2011 Jr. champion...
