Neil, can you give me a call!
Arena did have plans back in November to enter the BTCC with a pair of 2006-spec BMWs. It was in both Motorsport News and Autosport. I haven't heard anything about it since, thus I presume its not going ahead.
So an AA backed car, most likely not a manufacturer entry.
Not Arena, WSR or Motorbase(?).
Don't think it will be Pinkney. I believe he works/worked for RAC Warranty (hence it appearing on his cars in the past) - would be a bit of conflict of interest.
Possibly the AA deal is with Kartworld? Funding the 2 Super 2000 SEATs they plan to run? AA would tie in nicely with the yellow SEAT livery.
And before anyone starts, I'm merely guessing/speculating
Looks like Marsh and Pinkney will be driving alfas backed by the AA if I've read tbd's comments correctly..
I seem to remember the RAC logos dissapearing off Pinkey's car half way through last season, so maybe this link is no longer there?Quote:

So I would image the sponsorship would be for 'AA Warranty', not 'The AA'.
Just imagine the colours of the cars! Yellow, Red and Pink!
Yellow for AA.
Red for Alfa Romeo.
And Pink for, well we all know that one!
