yes...the fact they used the mini and not a BMW model is exactly that...they are not very serious about it and thats why they selected a b-class car company to represent them, so if mini does well they are going to be happy and if mini fails which it will most lkely thier image will be unscathed.Quote:

VW's involvement is excellent news, and in some ways I hope they do come with a massive budget, but total domination will ruin the sport just have Citroen have in some ways.
Also, I think everyone is writing Ford off too quickly. Mexico as we know was not a good event for them, but lets leave it a few events and then we'll see. I don't doubt that the 2 Sebs and Solberg have a better package, but Mikko and Jari are both ultra rapid on their day, and the Fiesta may prove to be better suited to the fast rallies like Finland and NZ, as are the drivers. On the Solberg issue what is the difference with his car, surely there is something....weight?
I think we should not forget that Loeb is one of major owners of PH Sport, so he is very much involved in Citroën Racing activities not only as a driver...
No new zealand this year.....
i do not care about the collateral damage..Quote:

Both BWM and Ford have the budget to go toe to toe with PSA and WV...if they do not wish to pay for success then stand aside and watch WIlson JR ridiculing himself and the factory.
And to use another saying...if you spend peanuts you can only buy monkeys.
