Abbring and PG were in the top ten on various days, so should have featured in that days highlights for their good performance, despite being S2000 cars in the same way as Ogier was. The others did have high points on certain stages that could have been shown too. The main point is when you have a show that lasts just over 26 minutes but you devote 11 & 1/2 minutes of that show to show regurgitating what happened prior to that day, it leaves little room for for anyone outside the top 5 to feature on the show. No privateer can hardly survive on that level of coverage.Quote:

In some ways, it would be no different to the small shots of the crowds and scenery they include to show the atmosphere of that event, just show short snippet of some cars outside the top 5. I know you can not include everyone, but at least the drivers entered at WRC level and/for SWRC/PWRC.
If you look at circuit racing, even the lowliest back marker is sure to be shown in TV from being shown on the starting grid to being lapped however many times. This despite the fact that the cameras and commentators at the time were concentrating on the top 5 car lapping the slower car, the slower car is still going to get some air time. Rally because of it's nature can not ensure that to it's lower ranked cars and that is a danger in a sense, in an era when sponsors want as much bang-for-their-buck as possible due to the poor economies.

video from a really nice spot, quality is not so nice though
Seems I was wrong on the images of Eurosport EllegyTV helped with the montage but it seems Courteyn and his Rally Action crew filmed it :) .
His WRR chat with Becs was just as brutal, may as well have been asking him about the weather in the UK for all the use the interview was to the listeners.Quote:

McRae did a massive burnout at Rally Australia in the late 1990's. There's a video of it somewhere online I think, if I find the pics at home I'll share them!
Wow, this one is great too. He got it from the very beggining! THanks!Quote:

So Fia screwed up with that fuel test. I got not so much knowledge about engines other stuff under the bonnet etc. :D
did anybody noticed a new sticker at Citroens?

really sad thing, i would´ve been very glad for pg and proton if they´d won swrc at monte carlo. would´ve been a good promotion for them...

They got out from the car in 5-6 seconds after explosion... with all the HANS devices and etc. How is it possible? Guys in the movie "gone in 60 seconds" sound snail slow now;-)
You should try the same. :D
It's not that the Hans system is attached to the seat. Just put on the button of seatbelts, and jump out of it :p .Quote:

And great gesture on the PowerStage :) It reminds me of Petter :D
Hover the PowerStage was disappointment.
It was supposed to be stage broadcasted live worldwide with bonus points for winners. Was it shown anywhere?
Turini would be much better PowerStage... Or GP course.
