29 Rajd Karkonoski action by RALLYCOHOLICY
Habaj from next round in Fiesta R5.
Wielka nowina!
Rajd Karkonoski was a very nice event, with great weather, interesting stages and good battle. The rally was won by Wojciech Chuchala, leader of the Polish championship. I'd like to invite you to my short photo gallery from this event. Enjoy!
Rajd Karkonoski in my eyes:
http://rallyonline.pl/g.php?1&pg_[de...T[id]=6983
Final results:
1. Wojciech Chuchała (Ford Fiesta R5) 1:36.47,0
2. Tomasz Kuchar (Peugeot 207 S2000) + 34,3
3. Grzegorz Grzyb (Skoda Fabia S2000) + 35,9
4. Maciej Oleksowicz (Ford Fiesta R5) + 1.23,1
5. Łukasz Habaj (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX) + 2.18,6
6. Tomasz Kasperczyk (Ford Fiesta R5) + 3.27,9

What happened to Grzyb and Chuchala today saturday during the first stages of second leg
Is this from this event?

Pretty huge crash
Thanks for the news Jarek...hope the crews are both OK
Nice battle for 2nd between Kuchar and Oleczowicz :D
Yes, both crews are OK.
I think that with just 3 stages to go and over 30s-advantage Rzeznik will win hist first rally this season.
It's funny to see the results after SS8. Dariusz Polonski and his Peugeot 208 R2 are faster than Igor Drotar in Skoda Fabia WRC! :D What a battle! :D
In R2 a certain Plachytka is constantly faster than Polonski and has reduced the gap to 20" with two stages left to go ;)
Now 8"5 between Kuchar and Oleksowicz after SS10(1 stage left to go) ;)
Victory Rajd Rzeszowski for Maciej Rzeznik ahead of Tomasz Kuchar and Maciej Oleksowicz ;)
A question to Polish members. How come that Rzeznik can win RSMP event? I remember he used to be quite slow and always crashing driver. Has he improved so much?
Yes, you are right. He used to be slow and always crashing driver with a big budget. People were laughing at him and he was constantly humiliating himself. But a few years ago he started making progress. Somehow he has managed to improve his speed and consistency. And now I can actually say that he isn't that bad. Of course he is good at national level only and he can win rallies only when faster drivers (like Grzyb, Chuchala or Habaj) crash, but still the progress that he has made in recent years is impressive.
I think that for Rzeznik was good experience to go abroad - he had place there to find the ways to improve without big push from home fans...
Rajd Nawislanski this week-end ;)
Problem on SS4 Rajd Nadwilanski ??? No more crew after the 14 first cars at arrival
Problem on SS8 this sunday morning
no ambulance, so no stage in competitive mode
OK thanks BR21 ;)
Epic!
Upcoming Friday/Saturday Barborka Rally will be held.
It's traditional season ending event in PL, it's not part of any championships, no technical rules so almost every sports car allowed - rally, rallycross, hillclimb, race, off-road, etc. Rally held in Warsaw, one new stage this year.

Nothing extra special, no proper WRC cars, I think almost for the first time in history since WRC cars were present on the market.
Oleksowicz on Fiesta R5+
Any news about Kuchar's car and programme for 2015?
The first round of 2015 Polish Rally Championship is going to be held on April 24-26 in Swidnica. Entry list for Rajd Swidnicki has just been published at http://rajdkrause.pl/2015/pliki/rsk4..._lista_zgl.pdf
Grzyb will drive Fabia R5 from Wevers in Rajd Nadwiślanski.
I think some kind of exchange for that Wevers mistake with Fiesta WRC in Slovakia
Is it already confirmed that Grzyb was excluded from Rally Košice?
Oficially not yet I think, but for sure car was not OK according to homologation.
Gryzb won Rajd Nadwiślanski ahead of Bouffier and Habaj. Those three had a great fight through the whole rally (Habaj lost a lot of time in the penultimate stage with a spin).
1. Grzyb (Fabia R5) 1:18:19,6
2. Bouffier (Fiesta Proto) +4,4
3. Habaj (Fiesta R5) +42,8 (10 sec penalty)
4. Kuchar (Fiesta R5) +52,9 (10 sec penalty)
5. Oleksowicz (Fiesta R5) +2:57,8
6. Gagacki (Evo IX Open N) +5:31,3
7. Stec (Fiesta Proto) +5:55,2
8. Byśkiniewicz (Clio R3T) +6:34,9
9. Łata (Evo X Open N) +6:50,7
10. Pieniażek (208 R2) +7:02,2
Rajd Dolnoslaski
1. Habaj (Fiesta R5) 1:12:37,1
2. Brzezinski (Fiesta R5) +11,3
3. Grzyb (Fiesta R5) +12,8
4. Kuchar (Fiesta R5) +45,7
5. Gabrys (Fiesta R5) +5:48,5
6. Gagacki (Evo IX) +6:22,6
7. Polonski (208 R2) +6:49,3
8. Chmielewski (DS3 R3T) +6:53,3
9. Stec (Fiesta Proto) +7:10,0
10. Bouffier (Fiesta Proto) +7:24,9
Bouffier won the biggest number of stages but retired during first day and returned only with superally. Habaj is now leading the championship but he will most likely skip more points than Bouffier and Gryzb. Everything is opened for all of them. Kasperczyk crashed. Fabtastic result for Brzezniski who is a new name for me. Can some of our Polish firends tell me who he is?
Jakub Brzezinski is relatively new in Polish rallying. He is 29 years old and he works as an instructor in Tomasz Kuchar's driving school. In 2014 he was competing in Citroen C2 R2 in the Polish Cup and was visibly quicker than anybody else. He didn't drive all rallies, but still finished the season in the third position. This year it is his first or second season in Polish championship. He drives Ford Fiesta R5, his results are great and his talent is undeniable.

Jakub Brzezinski had a huge crash in Rajd Arlamow. It seems that the crew is fortunately ok.
