Nine excellent races between our five main classes already this year - I wonder if F1'll manage one decent race all year? :D

I've been watching a bit of the first F1 race here in my backyard (on TV, I'd never pay to see it!) and it really makes me appreciate how lucky we are as motorcycle racing fans. 2-wheel racing is so far superior to open-wheeler racing in particular that it is actually quite funny. The celebrity race with Fiat 500's was far more interesting than the serious stuff! :laugh:

I also started watching the F1, but I fell asleep half way through. Can't wait for the next bike race.

I don't bother to watch it at all.

I heard on the news tonight that only 7 cars finished the race. I don't know how many started though..

I thought I'd watch the F1 today in hopes that it would hold my interest longer than the first few laps. It didn't. I wish there was bike racing next weekend.

When I was logging in, I read the report of the F1 here on motorsport.com. When will these idiot reporters stop calling a racer a Sophomore in his second year ? You idiots :down: He is not studying for a degree. I have seen this so many times, it really bugs me. Perhaps a rookie can be an entre, and a second year driver a main course, anything but a sophomore. Anyway, it's a pet hate of mine as you can see. Oh well, that's my rant for the day :D

But I understand what you mean. They get a bit carried away with themselves at times don't they. I think they just ramble on so as there isn't any quiet time on air.. :eek:
