Rally Argentina

News on Kristian Sohlberg: Hit a bank? on stage, damaged steering arm and upright. Changed the steering arm but the upright was so much damaged that it boke and was forced to retire. Starts super rally tomorrow if there is chance to score a point, otherwise not.

Other news from Finnish TV: Jarmo Mahonen, head of Neste rally says that they have plans to run a stage in Helsinki city center in 2008, but on stadium but on streets of the city

It's easy. Suomen roads, especially in Karjala, are very similar to roads of russian north-west rallies, where he grew as a driver. But on such rallies like Argentina, he just has much less experience compared to other P-WRC drivers.

Sorry I don't want to offence anyone and I don't blame any person because of where he/she is coming from. But sometimes diversities is a big problem to handle. Ferrari is an exception to the rule.

I agree with your best example. But Ferrari is another class and you know that Ferrari has been beaten by French Team Renault in 2005 and 2006.

I still can't see anything on the WRC or Rally Argentina websites regarding Alenaz and the alleged fatal accident.
Even if they can't go into details as it's an ongoing investigation, you'd have thought there'd be some kind of acknowledgement - otherwise it seems as if the sport doesnt care - we can't get the locals to fill a stadium as it is.

Nice to see Andrew Hawkeswood & Jeff Judd quietly working their way up through the field in a (very) well used Evo VII. This is Andrew's first visit to this rally and he was one of the competitors who had his car unloaded and customs cleared something like 25 or 30 minutes prior to the rally start.

Not really the best pre-event preparation for an event such as this.

You are mostly right, but Renault F1, had an Italian manager, Spanish driver, English race team, English chassis, French engine, French tyres, Japanese sponsors :D
