Sounds like serious problems :D

Evans and Martin swapping helmets, I can't remember seeing a crew do that before? Lucky they have similar sized heads!
It's pretty amazing to see how after decades of development, simple stuff like intercom's or alternators still breaks.

edit: repearing something on the road section, is he even able to start?
edit 2: do I need to say n+1th time that previously we had "Maps" for that...
Tanak slow getaway...
good that he has a big gap with the next drivers but for sure he will loose the lead
10s down already.

cant believe how bad the Hyundai is here always
why didnt they risk and bring the new car here, the end result is same
Down to 3rd now. At least the car still running. One to go.
Not to be overly sardonic in the face of an utterly familiar story… but man, great move by Hyundai to bring the old car.
Works just as well as it has every year since the Safari came back.
Hyundai should have left 2 years ago
Hyundai is clearly the fastest here, but they just can't build a reliable car. 2 broken gearboxes and a broken alternator, destroying the rally for all their drivers and it's only saturday.
Has anyone spotted a single animal yet during the live stage coverage?
Ok, quote of the rally, Martin asked from Ott after crossing the stage-end line: "could it be faster with a Starlet?" :D
damage limitation from Tänak and he managed it well
win is still possible
(laughs ironically knowing Hyundais reliability)
Just for background, some years ago they participated in one rally in Estonia with Starlet.
Edit: sh*t, it was 10 years ago and with Raigo Mõlder, felt like yesterday... :/

They have 45 minutes service, so they should be able to fix it without penalty.
Tanak explains the issue...

Neuville would lead by 30s if he didn't has the problems
Evans with a puncture right at the end of the final stage of the day. The luck of a (future) Champion ?
so Evans and Kalle the only ones today who didnt have problems (major ones) and it also shows with them being 1-2.
Tänak had 45 sec lead over Evans before his problems started and he is 55 secoonds down at the moment, but as the starting order is reversed tomorrow then i doubt he can make such a gap again.
The engine problem in Sweden and the driveshaft here in Kenya have both stolen a possible win from him and are very costly in the championship standings.
Lets see tomorrow
Tanak and Neuville can take positives from today, even though Toyota's probably weren't pushing the limits, Hyundai's were clearly faster.. We have another long day tomorrow and let's see if weather is going to change things. Weather is so random in Kenya lol, I don't know after all these years
