It would be great to See M-Sport with Evans and Fourmaux permanent and then third car split for Munster and some others
off topic but Ford hired Matthias Ekstrom to run the Raptor in Dakar. Nice!
Sainz and Nani Roma are also part of that team run by Msport.
...guess money "to hire drivers" and to "help develop the car" was not a problem for ford, its just that wrc is not interesting enough =[
Hyundai will name their 3rd driver(s) earliest and then we'll know. If it's not Fourmaux then he stays at M-Sport.
Ford claims that they are interested in offroad racing. They said that they would be in a works team in Dakar with M-Sport since they are the perfect team for achieving good things with their products, and then also said that if the rules fit them, they will invest in WRC, so I still cross fingers that FIA will check their boxes.
What I'm more concerned is that Ford will partner Redbull in F1 to develop engine there (2026). This could mean that bosses could relocate all the money and M-Sport would again stay dry...
In F1 Ford will have barely more input then sticking it's name on the engine and car and paying a nice big fee to RBR.
For now, Red Bull and Ford deal is helping M-Sport. They have gained valuable sponsorship and visibility through RB and their marketing channels. And I think M-Sport as a company only has to gain from a good RB-Ford partnership. As for WRC, it depends. If RB keeps promoter rights, M-Sport will definitely line up.
Glad to see that Redbull in WRC appears on some other cars than the best ones, as it was always the case. Or one time I saw some racing where there were like 3 or 4 different car brands and all had Redbull all over their cars. It looked stupid seeing the same colors racing to each other (they weren't in the same teams).
My guess is that Fourmaux will stay with M-Sport. He would would be the lead driver (unless Evans joins), and he would probably have more influence over team decisions than he would at Hyundai. Plus, the future of Hyundai after 2025 is uncertain, so M-Sport may have offered him a 2+1 contract. Additionally, the Hyundai car is known to be difficult to drive.
Possibly only for a year. Based on the results (if he would be bad there) they could change their tactics lower his full-time program and bring someone else to the team. Then what. Leave at the end of 2025. Some private teams take over for a year with underdeveloped cars (probably they will not develop anymore if they decide they will leave), and I'm sure with not so much money, there will not be more than 2 cars on the grid. 2027 this private team will be gone if not earlier.
And he wants the thing everyone wants. Being a world champion. Sorry but in Hyundai he will never be. Neuville being there the god, slowly being outpaced by Tanak, he will never have powers to being up there. Not in a year.
He is where he should be. In M-Sport. And I believe he gets some payment there, enough to live comfortably. Based on this year results he could bring some new sponsors money and maybe next year help to sell more cars and Malcolm will surely give him some credit.
I think that Hyundai should pick up two drivers and rotate them by each rally, so they would stay sharp.
Based on what was said in the media then for example Rovanpera agreed a multi-year deal. It all depends on a driver and his potential.
We got it. Saudis :D
Sesks has zero idea of his future, but Millener said he did a 'great job in the circumstances' in Chile...

Oh, come on, have you seen Dirt Fish CER friday start interviews?
Start from 4:57, just listen what Fourmauix is saying. For me it is a clear sign that he is leaving M-Sport.

He was clearly frustrated as the car wasnt like on the PET or Rally Legend. Not implementing some development parts isnt the issue on CER.

Solberg has 2025 choices according to Millener:
https://dirtfish.com/rally/wrc/who-i...urmaux-leaves/
Solbergs are just hoping for a Toyota seat. Very clear since mid 2022. If Kalle and Pajari are in for the long run (and with the possibility of Toyota returning to F1 at some point in the future), it could well be a pipedream. Even without the obvious Monster/RB clash, Oliver wouldn't go to Ford.
msport fools no one when they say keeping munster is a priority tbh...
what about gus? he spent some time in R5s learning, he has the $$. why not talk to him again?
(since we are talking about a team with no budget anyway)
Realisticaly whole season for privateer is mission impossible. Only Serderidis I think could do that and I think he really believes in Munster. But I think he could swap someone with him and he would be devoted to WRC2, like many before him. Many of them come back stronger.
I would like to see Rossel and Sesks in Puma.
Dear Santa Clause:
I would like to see Sesks, Solberg and Gryazin (and of course Munster) in the Puma!
Solberg in Monster Livery, Sesks in the livery he had this year and the other 2 in Ford M-Sport Colours, than RedBull can switch to Toyota and they get the same livery as the Dakar Toyota. Thank you!
About Sesks ! In Latvian Media an some podcast Sesks is speaking strongly, that we will see him in Rally1 in 2025. The amount of rallies is not yet known. But by the way he speaks, it looks like it could be a lot of rallies - I would guess 8 rallies (toraly my guess). He is even talking about participating in WRC long term - that means they (sesks and people around him) are serious about this.
Finnish sources says Serderidis will drive 3rd car in certain rallies in 2025... Sweden, Kenya, Italy and Acropolis...
Also Arctic rally probably together with Munster.
maybe fast rallies for Sesks?
He said that in the recent Dirtfish feature...
“I will do Sweden, Kenya, Sardinia and Acropolis, so it’s quite a big program. And then I will switch to the rally-raid, I think,” he shares. “So I will prepare myself with one baja in Spain, then I do Portugal, Morocco and I want to do Dakar in 2026.”

About Martins Sesks:
This morning in Latvian morning news show WRC Latvia organiser Mr. Strokss said, that he is involved in talks together with Sesks team and very good news will likely to come out around middle of January 2025. he told, that WRC promoter and other people want to see Sesks in WRC. So based of this interview, I predict that:
Sesks 13 rounds in Rally 1 (all rounds except Monte) - 65.11% probability;
Sesks 13 rounds (all rounds except Monte) Gravel in Rally1, tarmac in Rally2 - 77.74% probability;
Sesks 8 rounds in Rally1 - 82.24% probability;
Sesks All 14 rounds in Rally1 - 7,33 % probability - just because it might me already too late.
Sesks in at least 1 WRC round in a Rally1 in Rally2 car - 100% probability.
It looks that Sesks team goes common sense mode - focus on the step by step development. I doubt it will be more than 6-8 events. Praxes shows that transition to 14 event, non-stop pro life is not an easy task for many juniors. I would think that the right approach to juniors would be 1-2, then 5-8 events before going to full 14 event season. Kalle was an exception, sort of Unicorn in all this carousel.

Wonder who´s gonna take over Pickems for 2025...
Guess everyone heard me and Kradovech won´t go on this year after six years of managing Pickems.
