Indirectly, if Citroen allow, he´ll have training without Citroen pays nothing but his paycheck. If he make a short vist at MSport in Finland.

Citroen didnt sack Meeke, he is still under contract and being paid. So atm he cant drive for anyone else til 2019.

I don`t want to believe that Meeke made a contract, that allows Citroen to bench him for half a season and ban him from using his own wallet for renting a car for instance, but maybe...

That junction at 1,8 km is tricky. The video shows well the numerous rhythm changes from very narrow to less narrow, a bit faster and finally onto wide and straight road.

Both WRC and VETOMIES entries have closed, support event is showing 87 entries but organisation still has "VETO" to take more...
Amount of WRC entries will decide how many supports they take, 70 is minimum.

Interesting entries:
Eskelinen Lancer WRC 02
Steven "BOS" Bossard (suspension guru)
Hosike Focus WRC 02
Lehti Corsa S2000
Henrik Pietarinen Mitsu, favourite for win.

Lario M3 and Palmi 323ti compact very loud and powerful
Vesa Hirvonen probably fastest 2wd

It wouldnt have been framed like that as the chance of him being 'benched' was probably never considered.

As he is still under contract and being paid I dont see how he can drive for another team. Plus he has never had any private funding in his whole career.

It is the fish eye lense. Try this: cover the left and right third of the screen with your hands or with two books, so you see only the road and none of the scenery. Looks a lot twistier already!

Thanks God I know how these roads look like in reality :) I've been driving most of them and will do it once again this year.

Spectator recce is the only proper way to learn about the actual conditions. Good that it's so. Taking the effort pays off. These videos are only good for checking afterwards if you are not sure or remember whether some place is before or after a connection road or similar.

It's understandable and comes as no surprise, but we're missing:

- winner of 2016
- 3rd of 2017

And it seems like neither Nordgren or Tidemand will start in WRC2. Add those two to the current list of WRC2 entries and it'd be a killer.

Anyway, can't wait for the rally to start ;)

This year's entry list consist a crushing 26% of Skoda Fabia R5's. 10 years ago there were 24% Mitsubishi Evo's, 20 years ago 18% Mitsubishi Evo's, 30 years ago 20% Lancia Deltas and 40 years ago 21% Ford Escorts.

What is different to 10, 20, 30 and 40 years ago is the absence of any privateers in the top category. Somehow sad that this new generation of WRCars has become too inaccessible for privateers.

I think he did a test yes. Quite surprising not to see at least Nordgren on his home event.

Skoda was testing new parts, Tidemand is their leading gravel driver, driving is his work.

Recce only entries not announced yet, but I probably read somewhere that Tidemand is doing recce.

Nordgren's season seems like a letdown indeed. He didn't get to do APRC and seems like not a lot of WRC2 events either. But then again, he is the fifth driver of the Skoda team and he probably doesn't have the backing for private entries like Rovanperä and Veiby have

Well In Acropolis he had many punctures which kinda ruined his race. In Cyprus he made a rookie error from the lead but eventually had to retire when he crashed to a on coming public vehicle on stage.
No idea what's wrong in Bohemia but he was/is slower than I expected.

Looking at Skodas lineup this year my guess is that Juuso was ment to do the whole APRC season but when that fell apart they decided to put him in ERC + couple of WRC2 rounds instead.
Kalle is actually currently the Skoda driver with the least Skoda motorsport starts this season so far.
