Neuville got 1st choice as he was the best placed Hyundai driver in 2016 and chose to use number 5. Paddon took then number 4 and number 6 was left for Sordo...

Will be interesting to see where he ends up. Reading that text you get the sense he will be co driving somewhere higher up. No idea with who that could be.
That entry list looks great! Haven't been so excited for a Monte for a long time! :D
The only big regret is Mikkelsen who should really have been in a WRC, but at least it gives us a nice reference for all the WRC2 drivers.

No matter how fast it goes it still looks beautiful.
I will be there from thursday to sunday. On thursday will be the first time I watch a rally during the night. I'm pretty excited to see these new cars live and in competitive mode. Can't wait for it.
I'm planing our schedule for the rally and looks like that at the moment - Thursday 1 ss; Friday - 2 ss, trying to figure out a way to watch more than 2 but I think it's impossible. Maybe only if you watch first 5-6 cars but even than I'm not sure that you can make it. And 3 ss on Saturday, no Sunday for us as we have a flight to catch and didn't want to bother going south. What are your plans guys? Would be nice to hear.

WED: Planning Shakedown service on Weds. Our flight gets in agonizingly just too late for Shakedown.
THU: SS2 in the night.
FRI: SS4/7 Aspres-les-Corps – Chaillol (walking distance onto the stage from our B&B that day). Hoping to go to somewhere near the 'guy with the flare' snow section from last year. Depends on the weather.
SAT: SS10/12 La Batie Monsaleon – Faye - Access via Savournon and walk up to bends below Tanak crash zone from 2 years ago.
SUN: SS14/16 Lucéram – Col St Roch - Recommendations welcome
Just need to get the hire car sorted now.
you mean that you will NOT inform us through the stages? http://www.petrolheads.gr/images/smi...orum/rant2.gif
Breen updated number with 14 in MC entry list instead of 12. Also eligible for manufacturers' points?

Early weather forecasts anyone? Bone dry I'm guessing given I'm heading over?
There are polar winds flying around these days.
Far north in Norway we have been down to -50 during past week!
It is too far to tell exactly but general meteorological maps say that in the mountains, higher elevations, -20 on that week is likely. However, it can change quickly :) This year, it has been a bit strange, verything is changig very quickly, low and high pressure areas are switching their places like 3 years old children :P
Quick changes means also precipitation. So, too early to call but cold and snowy Monte is likely.
Don't know how in France but here in CZ it's been so far definitely reasonably colder than last year. Also a lot more snow.
In France, this year, in the Alps, there is less snow as usual, but the snow is coming... Let's see next days ;)

Looks like proper Monte conditions
