I missed the 5th goal. I was sleeping.
Someone wake me up.:D
Someone kept me awake the whole evening :p:

Will you guys resist to watch Chile-Australia?
It will start at 1.00 - my local time.
I already fixed some toothpicks to keep eyes open.
But I love Chile's anthem and the way they sing. Ivan Zamorano was not only a good player but also a soulful singer.
Won't stay for next match, so enjoy it and goodnight ! ;)
I am watching Chile v Oz
Gadjo. Romania could do better than Spain tonight.:p
Yeah, we were in the same qualification group with the Netherlands and we were beaten at home only with 4-1.:p
But I have all the respect for them cos they played fair in the group until the last game. They were already qualified but played. against Hungary with their best team and. to win. It's only our fault we missed the chance to be in Brazil. That's why. I'll support them at WC although during the European Cup I said I hate this team.
Heard/seen the chilean anthem, now I can go to sleep. Good night!
Wow what a first 35 minutes here. Chile attacking all out and 2-0 up after 15 minutes and out of the blue Australia pull one back 2-1.
Good start to the World Cup barring a couple of dive penalties.
Yep that is my lone vote for the Netherlands on top of the screen which at this point is not looking too bad. My god what a bloodletting.
Gadji The Chilean National Anthem is my second fav, right behind France :)
I guess we have to settle for a clairvoyant tortuga this time around
What an amazing demolition of Spain that was.
What else could we have expected from the self entitled '' reigning freakin' F1 pickems champion'"? :p
I think I said that french anthem is my fav on the thread. about european championship ( ilustrateded with a short video from Casablanca when Victor Laszlo orders "la Maseillaise'' :p)Quote:

3-1 down for Australia is better than I'd predicted at 4-0; it very nearly was 4 except for a clearance off the line.
I expect that the papers tomorrow will all have tales of "bravery" and whatnot and then go back to their usual Rugby League muck on Monday; because Murdoch's papers push what they want to push.
Can we expect to see double figures by the Netherlands in the next fixture? Maybe. If Brazil and France could both slot 6 past Australia then Robben and Van Persie who are absolutely on fire, will burn Australia's defences to cinders.
So they are 3 into your total. A couple of 9-0 losses needed now. ;)
My group A predictions were pretty damn close, Group B I got the Chile level sort of right.
To be honest if anyone predicted 1-5 for Netherlands I hope they won a lot of money. :D
Don't hate me 'cause I'm beautiful.
Si señorita (de mascara), watch out for Méjico! What else would you like to know? :ninja: ;)

Don't think so. It was important to win against Spain and to be the leader of this group to avoid Brazil on the next stage. Normally Chile and Australia can't raise many problems so Netherlands may keep their energy for the future. But I'm talking about the same team that although already qualified at WC made a shocking 8-1 against Hungary.......
I sheer and hoped that the Dutch team would beat the boring Spain, and man, what a beating Spain took.
How about some prediction for tonight ? I think it will be a close fight, hopefully 2-1 to Italy :D
Italy's biggest problem is how to replace legendary Buffon, in case he won't be fit for the match...
Too close to call Pino, good luck! May the forza be with you! ;)
I predict a convenient 0-0 and a boring game for the pino-steve match.
Colombia-Greece.......It's hard cos I love both of them. But Colombia without Falcao is like a wedding without fiddlers or like this thread without race aficionado whose comments I enjoyed a lot.:p
BTW, what happened with him?
Dont know. I miss him too. He was nice, sensible and funny.
Anyway I wouldn't disagree with 0-0. I reckon we will score early and think we are great (players I mean), then we will be pummelled and concede in the second half and hang on for the draw.
Gadjo I love Colombia too. Rene Higuita is a hero of mine. :p
Let's hope so. Otherwise I'll fall asleep. Again.
Both had some cool hair.
Not really but we missed you.
