If Richard Petty had retired after the '84 season, He would have had an almost 70% top ten %.

Joe Nemechek at 1st Richmond race in 2003 in #01 US Army Pontiac.
Joe Nemechek was in the Hendrick #25 UAW-Delphi Chevrolet when he won that race.
I'll say Ricky Craven driving the Cal Wells #32 Tide Pontiac in the March race @ Darlington, 2003.
It was a "beating & banging" race to the line against Kurt Busch, one of the best finishes ever !
correct, the Pontiac's nose being quite useful that day.Quote:

Nope, Jimmie Johnson only has 3 top 10s @ Las Vegas. (so far)
Maybe Mark Martin?
Yes, it is Mark Martin ! :D
In 9 races, Mark has 7 top 10's @ Las Vegas.

Ok, a fairly easy question. There have been 48 drivers that have been crowned "Rookie of the Year". How many of those have gone on to win a Championship.
8:Quote:

Next question:
Which current Cup racetrack has the steepest degree of banking?

Bristol at 36 degrees.
Yes that's correct. (Talladega is 2nd at 33 degrees.)Quote:

keep searching. Harvick is one, but there are more.
bump
Carl Edwards is another
that's two, still missing one.
Harvick and Edwards are accounted for, there's one left. here's a clue that should be obvious: this driver won while driving for the same team as the current points leader.
Good hint. Jerry Nadeu, too easy to forget guys like him. Really, to this day, no one has done more in the 25 car for HMS than he did...I'd like to think he had a few more wins in him.
I have to admit, I was drunk when I said Talladega above, lol, what a dummy I am...
correct, your go Hoss.
Staying with the #25 HMS car. Although Nadeu ran well and was a threat to win several times in the car, he, along with Joe Nemecheck, and Brian Vickers were only able to place the car in victory lane once each during their time behind the wheel. Two drivers well before them had greater success in the #25.
Which two drivers have the most wins in that car?
Off the top of my head and without researching, I would think Ken Schrader & Tim Richmond. That doesn't take into account if #25 was ever a top team before the modern era though.
That's correct Jonesi, both Schrader and Richmond had a number of wins for HMS in the #25.
Your go.
