Don't know if this is known before, but details regarding the TV-coverage of WRC and Rally Sweden in Scandinavia is that Viasat Motor will broadcast during four days, including live coverage of Karlstad Super Special Stage and the finishing Värmullsåsen stage (a ski slope!).
The WRC deal is signed on three years for Viasat Motor, so finally Scandinavian people can work on a long term with sponsors and other stuff depending on the TV coverage :)
Hello everybody.
This is my first sweden WRC and I´m a little lost.
We´ll arrive in Oslo, so I think in this country it´s forbidden the nails tyres. Only m+s ones.
These kind of tyres are sufficient for the access roads to the special stages?
Thanks.
Regards.
Sorry can't help you asturally, but...
Just in case people didn't notice in other threads, its almost certain that Andreas Mikkelsen will be in Sweden for the SWRC (or for testing) in the Fiesta S2000.
Seb.Loeb is winning.. :)
No problem. I think that some local forum user can help me.Quote:

Last year in Norway, we didn't have nail tyres also and that was no problem at all to drive there. So I dont think it will be a problem in Sweden :)
studded winter tyres are allowed but you hav e to pay a fee.--its just in and around Oslo I think..
Does anyone know when it will be public the entry list?
According to Rallye Guide 1:Quote:

Are you flying to Gardermoen [OSL] ? Then you dont have any problem with studded tyres, its only in city center of Oslo they are forbidden.. (Gardermoen Airport its 50km north of Oslo )Quote:

From my little experience (I've been once to rally Sweden and once to rally Norway). I think you better have studded tyres for Sweden because it is easier to find ice in little roads or even if your accomodation is outside of a village.Quote:

Buen viaje!!!
Rent a Volvo with anti skid and anti slip car, you don´t need studded tyres! :s mokin:
No, brother. Studs wiill be needed. Else you havent been driving on the 45 road around Rämmen and Sågen. I could be black ice on that tarmac surface. Have been there many times and watched it. :s mokin:Quote:

There is no ban of studded tyres in Oslo either (I have it on my car) - but there is a small fee for using them inside Oslo borders, around 3 pounds/4 euros a day. If you go straight from the airport (Gardermoen) towards Sweden you don't have to think about it at all.Quote:

For example like Lillehammer stage in Rally Norway 2009 or icy lakes in past editions of Swedish Rally?

The team manager of Mikkelsen have bought one of B Kongsruds Fabia WRC's, so some are speculating that Mikkel is coming to Sweden with that.
Do you have pictures of this product?Quote:

So, it´s necessary to have the Pass Rally to enter in the Shakedown Stage?
Many thanks in advance.
It was the same system as this this... Not the same brand I think...Quote:

We are just starting to get exited about coming over for the rally and can somebody tell me when are the stage car parks likely to be on the official site?
I think if we get good conditions this could be the closest rally of 2010 and if Mikko is going to win the drivers title he has to win or at least finish ahead of Loeb.
xd
