N14 wins in front of S2000's and Evo's
Vids from Treviso and Ciocco?
Bruschetta was very fast last year as well.
Travaglia extended his lead (-28.4)
Deserved win for Renato Travaglia on the first round of CIR. But we must expect much more competition on the second run, gravel rally Adriatico in one month !
Was the boycot of the official drivers not meant to be for the two first rally's of the season? So i guess they wont be there in second rally neither. :( :confused:Quote:

Rolled on a liaison section? What were they doing? ;)
Anyway, Gianfranco Cunico is back in the Italian championship! He will drive Mitsubishi Evo IX on Rally Adriatico. Does anybody remember this classic driver? He is 51 now, but I'd bet he will be faster than many young guns ;)
Of course I remember Cunico! He was so fast in his Ford days...Quote:

Cunico's website (under construction) suggests that he is some kind of a driving coach now:

So, full throtle Cunico !!
According to news on Rallylink, Mr.Cunico will change his program in 2009: he will drive Focus WRC 07 in Italian IRC cup !!!!
Obviously he got some more mony out of his sponsors budget !! Looking good for this year IRC in Italy-Pucco Grossi already with Subaru Impreza S12b, now Cunico, it is going to be interesting.....

Go Burcu!!!!!!!!!
Burcu, good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will Yazici run in the Italian championship this year?
Yes, with Punto S2000 from Grifone.
Thanks Mirek. And one more question: Will we see Burcu in any other events in Italy with the Punto S2000?
It seems it's just one start.
Design of Burcu's car (I am not able to give here direct link to full size picture, it is here: link)

First time a Grande Punto uses Yokohamas ????
I know last year Mauro Trentin used Yokohamas on gravel on his 207 S2000 ;)
I like that livery. :up:Quote:

Looks like the Fontana family will run this coming week-end on the Ronde Soave e Durello(Luigi his 206 wrc, and son Corrado his 207 S2000 both under Grifone livery)

Thanks for the list Tom! It's good to see Luca Pedersoli in action again. I talked to him in 2004 when he won Rally of Poland - a very cool guy!
Piero Longhi officially confirmed his starts in colours of Skoda Italy.
