I wish the first polish driver to get the Pug would have been Piotr Adamus who deserves it really :(

Yes, Norbert Guzek wants to hire Pug 207 S2000 for 2 or 3 rounds of the Polish championship. Pure waste of money, if you ask me. He used to drive Renault Clio Ragnotti, Ford Puma S1600 (http://www.rallyonline.pl/ft.php?idg=1509&pg_[go]=21) and Citroen C2 S1600, but never achieved anything...Quote:

Any idea of "history" of this 207 ??
Is it the one of Racing-Lion(Peugeot-Sport Italy), of Twister Corse(Enjolras)or another again ??
Bernd Casier had a test with his Kronos 207 S2000 :D

Jesus Puras at rally Ourense(22-24 june - next event of spanish rallies championship) in a 207 S2000
Read on http://www.autoklub.pl (in the article about Alberto Hevia winning the Rally Bias Caixas last week-end)...
Or perhaps have I wrongly understood polish... :p :
That means allready 3 S2000's in Spain. S2000 is really booming!!! :D Was the success of S1600 that big?
By the way, new victory of Vitor Sà in Madeira championship last week-end in his Fiat Grande Punto S2000 ;)
It was on Rali Santa Cruz(all infos on http://www.ralismadeira.com )
He won with a big margin(almost 1 minute)over Alexandre Camacho driving a 206 S1600...
Yes, very easy for him, the car is ok now. He said he wants to fight for top five in the next Rally Vinho Madeira.Quote:

Hope his first round will be Ypres!!! :)Quote:

Eyvind Brynildsen was testing Punto S2000 from Automeca before Rally Bohemia: http://www.autosport.cz/clanek.php?cl=4394

Thanks LP ;)
This coming week-end, Daniel Fasano will drive the BSA 207 S2000(the one used by Benoît Rousselot at the Alsace-Vosges rally)on the Rallye du Pays Rochois(not far from Lyon city in middle-east France) :D
Great entrylist for this rally with a 206 wrc, a Porsche 997 GT3, and a 306 Maxi... ;)
http://rally38.free.fr/accueil/engages.htm
One more S2000 driver to add to the list !!! :p :
Frenchman Brice Tirabassi(who ran on Clio S1600 in WRC two years ago)will run on some french events(Rallye du Rouerge in a week, rallye du Var, his home event,...)and at least an IRC event, on the 207 S2000 of the BSA team...
This week-end is next portuguese championship event, the SATA Rali Açores, a very rough gravel rally... ;)
Another difficulty for Bruno Magalhaes(207 S2000) and José Pedro Fontès(Grande Punto S2000)...
A confirmation of Czopik leaving and Loix staying in the Rene Georges team:
http://www.renegeorges.be/fr/News.asp?lg=2&menunum=15
Look at the results of Total International Rally in South Africa:
http://www.autoklub.pl/16045,news.html
Three Polos S2000 in top 6. Rene Georges should learn form them...
Thought Loix was taking over Pieter Tsjoen's Punto S2000 ....Quote:

Maciej Lubiak will run in his Fiat Grande Punto S2000 this week-end on the Rally Appennino Reggiano(italian tarmac rally championship event) :D
And let's not forget Julien Pressac in his 207 S2000 from BSA on french gravel championship event Rallye Terre du Diois(see corresponding thread) :p :
Lubiak is doing a very disappointing season with his punto, like José Pedro Fontes in Portugal, very similar cases...Quote:

That's true. After SS6 Lubiak is only 19th overal (http://www.cronore.it/rally/appennino2007/CIAA120.HTM). Lubiak is a nice person and a good driver in group N, but he's not using full potential of the Punto.Quote:

The second Punto S2000 (of Marco Bernardelli) has already retired.

This week-end the 207 S2000 of the TAIF Rally Team will run again in Finland, at the OK-Auto Ralli ;)
