Right on the last answer.
I'm thinking the night owls are monopolizing this, so I'll leave your question for the early birds. (and I'm too tired to come up with another good question tonight :)

Only 2 drivers have done it, the other driver is Johnny Mantz @ Darlington, SC - 1950
Right on Stan! your turn.
I don't want to be a party pooper but when answering a question lets be courteous and wait for the person that asked the question to confirm the answer before posting another question. No matter how sure you are of the answer. On another note it is good to see some new players in the Trivia and the questions are pretty good.
Who was the most recent driver to win the Cup Championship without racing in all of the points races in the season ?
Richard Petty in 71 ran 46 of 48. (I was thinking DE missed a race due to injury in one of his champ years, but I can't find a record of it)
You are correct Jonesi !!! :D
1971 Winston Cup Champion, Richard Petty skipped the points race @ Macon, GA.
(The other race was the Race 2 qualifier for the Daytona 500, he competed in Race 1)
It's your turn Jonesi. :D
Official Nascar records show 26 wins for Rex White, however other sources credit him with 28 wins. Which races are disputed and what is the reason for the discrepances?
