An increase of 30 quid a month in 2 years? Maybe in another 2 years it'll move to Sky Sports and we can help subsidise the vastly overpaid English Premiership! So as it stands it's more expensive to watch it all on TV than it is to get into every race meeting! (not counting travel etc of course, depending where you live)
Saying that, I could have watched my team win last night instead of listening to the radio, but I suppose that's how we're all suckered into these things. Here's the Devil's hand to shake...
so is sentana sports extra even if you have basic sky package ??
Yes ....Quote:

Yeah it's €15 a month for me to subscribe to Setanta and I get nine channels. That's a real bonus as I had subscribed to it for the GAA and hurling (Ireland's national sports) but now I get back to normality with the BTCC supports!
15 Euros???? I see, so the Irish pay less for it than the British eh? (£15) That's nice, steal our own championship away from us (as well as the SPL) then charge the British more to see it. Oh go on then, whine about your 80% rate of VAT and how it works out the same.
"GAA and hurling (Ireland's national sports)" - Whatever that is. If that's the kind of crap you're forcing everyone to buy into then what hope is there.
I'm sorry if that offends anyone but I now despise Setanta more than ever for this. I hope the BTCC never returns to Mondello Park.
MotorsTV was never on Freeview.Quote:

Um, it's in Ireland?
So... because Setanta, an Irish company, will now be broadcasting the BTCC you don't want the BTCC to race in Ireland?
