The most important for us is +90 mm width and -30 mm height :)
Ron, for You more info (engines, equipment, boot space). You can use google translator I think. What is strange is that the article claims no RS planned...

I have no idea.
From Kevin Abbring's Facebook:
"Great progress with the Peugeot 208 T16! 900km flat out with absolutely no issues at all! Yet another promising R5 development test. Track temperatures up to 48 degrees! Merci Loïc Petitjean et Florian Beschet pour les photos!"

Problem for island events is big costs for foreign teams. And not only money costs, but also time costs...

No, back when the ferry was available the cars would only spend one week on the Island including transport times from and to the mainland. And correct me if Im wrong but that would make the time needed for the trip the same as any team going to the Algarve for Rally Portugal.
Easy calculations - for us it is 3500 kms from Czech to the port in Portugal, which means 3 days for one trip. Ferry is usually going one and half week before the rally and leaving immediatelly after rally, but then going few days back. In total, it is almost three weeks out of home for mechanics and cars...
To leave on Sunday morning for the Azores Rally is impossible. The trip takes 3 days and the cars need to arrive at the scene on Sunday before the week's rally. On sunday and monday the teams do their test, Tuesday and Wednesday are for reece and the rally takes place between Thursday and Saturday. It´s 6 days for transportation on the ocean
Both livery's look nice!

Rumour on Madeira, that Team Vespas will buy the Fiesta R5 (Bernardo Sousa) to Alexandre Camacho.
Very strange front damper position in Fabia R5. Looks like it is almost vertical but placed behind the upright...

Hmm... I'm no suspension expert but vertical position always very much limits the length of damper which is bad for it's function in rallying (except smooth asphalts). Placing behind the upright is probably for making it longer than if it was upon the driveshaft in the middle.
