It is not important, I know that, but sometimes it could indicate the pace. PG was obviously pushing max to get the best time, while Ogier probably just had a run to check the settings. And I do not expect PG to be fastest out of the block, Ogier would be my favourite - Paddon may have the pace straight from the get-go as well. I agree the contest will be strong and intense, will be the most entertaining battle this year - I hope!

And I have a fetish for SD-times ;)

And as ELPE writes, PG was fastest of the guys running for points.. Guess that doesnt mean the VW motorsport guys

True, but still interesting to compare the pace, at least from my point of view. Hoping PG will finish and climb up the resultsheets throughout the rally. And if Mikkelsen is on Ogier's pace, he might secure a ride next year, don't you think? Can't wait for this afternoons opener!

Great shot of the DS3 there. The rear wheel arches look even wider than usual from that angle; super wide-track for Finland!
