The rally is over Kyrkos as expected won and Halivelakis was 2nd, the 3rd place went to christoforos by 0.19 seconds !!!! Zachos did a magnifiscent 2nd best time on the final ss (just .2sec off kyrkos 1st place) but wasn't enough....the fight was between christoforos (local and last years winner) Zachos (renault clio A7) and Gerodimos (Golf kit Car A7) before the last stage the difference between the 3 was 4 seconds.

Some news/rumours from Finnish Rally Championship few weeks before summer season starts:
- Championship leaders Salo and Lindroos will upgrade to R4 versions (Evo X and Impreza), but not necessarily ready for the next round in Hämeenlinna (May 14th)
- Kristian Sohlberg will drive Subaru in Hämeenlinna
- Janne Tuohino is said to bought Fiesta S2000
- Matti Rantanen is said to consider a car change for summer rounds, but to what car, no news. He could end up using several makes in the process.

Next round in Hämeenlinna is more of a sprint-type event with four normal SS and one tarmac SSS. Recced in the morning, run in the day, party in the evening kind of deal.

Last two FRC rounds are run in Lapua (June 11th) and Kerava (September 17th). Those two rallies will have an extra class for Vetomies title, Group F race, that some might remember as part of NORF or Lahti Historic ERC from past years.

Any more news on Kristian Sohlberg?
I thought that Tuohino's S2000 was his Fiesta.

Now that I read the newsletter again, it says, in Finnish, that Tuohino has made a deal for Fiesta S2000, but it could be understood either way - whether he has bought a new one or sold his old one. Sometimes our language doesn't say it clear, especially if it isn't written well. The Fiesta he used in winter rallies was the same he used last year in SWRC.

Sohlberg's website says: opens soon, selected international rallies in 2011.
