Results in Monte and Sweden and Finland cannot be taken seriously... both are unique events, they have far bigger prestige from the rest but are not indicative of the performance of the drivers or the cars.
I think Mikko is the man to watch this season
No...for many reasons.Quote:

Of course :cool:Quote:

Yes, Latvala is faster but that's because Hirvonen is really bad on tarmac which doesn't make JML especially good. JML is still extremely crash-prone and you could hear from the interview with him that he was mentally shaken. He now has to win in Sweden or at least beat Loeb and PSolberg to get he title fight back on track. If he crashes again it's already game over.Quote:

I read that too but nothing official (yet).Quote:

On the plus side for Ford, it was an outstanding MC debut for Petter in the Fiesta, showing both real pace and saying he felt very comfortable in the car: "I never dreamed of having a car as good as this, and to be able to attack on the stages like I have is unbelievable" "This is just fantastic – I just love driving this car, it is unbelievably fast, and they say it is even faster on snow and gravel! It is so easy getting into rhythm with the car, and then the rest is just fun! Can’t wait to do Sweden next!"
It could well be that he will the nearest Ford driver to taking on Loeb this year.
Sweden's result will be very important to the chances of a competitive season ahead...
Louise should cook.
its good to be a minor...i envy you...Quote:

Heavy me(n)tal music in coverage sucks.
i am very surprised that some mates like Petters performance at Monte.Did they have noticed that he is almost 3 minutes behind leader, while leader was in safe mode for 2 days?Meanwhile he(Petter) was fighting last 2 days for podium?
i really can t understant where is the ''ok performance''
Bearing in mind that this rally was his first in a Fiesta WRC and also that it's a tarmac one, I think that Solberg's performance was not bad. However, I won't be happy if I see him fighting for 2nd place in rallies such as Mexico, Portugal, Acropolis...Quote:

I was very impressed with Petter. New car, a rally where he's never done well, and he wasn't prioritized in the team until Latvala crashed (most evident when Malcolm told him to not run studs/softs diagonally like everyone else. That cost him a minute).
Sordo, an expert on asphalt was shocked at the times Petter were setting saturday and said after SS15: "Honestly, in this stage I was pushing really hard to be in front for the last one. But here the feeling was not so bad, and Solberg took 8 seconds in 11km. Congratulations to him, I really tried.. I don't know."
Really excited to see what Petter can do in the Fiesta on surfaces closer to his skillset, like snow and gravel.
