10 times Clio Super 1600! :)
Fantastic gap between Devid Oldrati, winner of rally del Taro, and Nicola Botta 2nd overall: only 0"8 !!! :)

An easy victory for Cantaluka, me thinks, although he drives less time than his opponents ;)
Finally after 2 stages of Rally Torino Andrea Sala is leading Cantaluka and Alessio Pisi ;)
Luca Pedersoli's C4 WRC will have a new livery for the next weekend Rally Della Marca. IMHO one of the best looking C4....

Talking about this rally-rumors are saying that at least 9 !! WRC cars + Mini Countryman (C.Fontana) will be present on this rally. I'm looking forward for official entry-list.
Also some very good local drivers in 206 WRCs , will be very interesting to compare ;)
Really nice livery!Quote:

Finally three C4s(added to Re and Pedersoli you have Michelini), Cavallini in a Subaru, Fontana C. in a Mini WRC(!!), Bruschetta in a 206,...
Uwe Nittel in a Fiesta S2000 ;)
Federico Gasperetti in a DS3 if can make it fly like the Clio R3 he used to drive... :bounce:
Yes , but a little dissaponting that there are only 65 cars . There are almost no enthusiasts with old homologation cars , it seems that TRA is turning into a playground of very wealthy people . The entry fee is a little less than 1000 Euro , which is almost what you pay for a ERC rally with more than twice as much kilometres .
On the bright side , I am very interested to see what Bruschetta can do in a 206 . Also , note Scopel in a C2 S1600 , this a driver who used to beat WRCs in a Padoan Clio Williams FA7 ...
Mistake-Rallye Marca is not part of I.R.C, but TRA (Trofeo Rally Asfalto). I'm going to watch ''action'' in live. Not to forget special guest-Uwe Nittel in Fiesa S2000. IMHO he is the favorite in S2000 class......Quote:

Vellani and Efrem Bianco too!!
Such short stage(it was an SSS)and already quite big gaps :s

Last weekend in Montalcino and its surroundings was taken place 2. Tuscan Rewind...as an honour of Henri Toivonen, his brother Harri drove there the Evo6 group A - nice pushing, didn´t matter that he was only forunner... my pics from the event - http://www.nomaks-racing.com/index.php?stranka=258
After SS6 Marca, Re ahead of Michelini, Pedersoli and Porro ;)
Nittel who was leading S2000s no time in SS6 though
Edit: OK, Nittel still in race, 8th overall ;)
I've yust arrived back from Marca. And what a rally, really exceeded my expectations! First of all-Felice Re was driving (almost) like last year's driver of his C4, named Sebastien....No kidding-he was really pushing, making no mistakes, the car was perfect, in the first morning loop right tire choice (it was wet), so deserved victory. Also very positive race for Rudy Michelini-first time in WRC, he can become later in the season ''pain'' for Re, Pede, Porro....Not to forget-Uwe Nittel-first time in s2000 and already quite faster than Italian drivers with the same class cars. He had one ''moment'', damaged a front left part of the car, but nothing seriously....I was talking with him and he was positive surprised about overal performance of Fiesta, except driving uphill, put it midly it is sad.....
At the end-Mini Countryman WRC: seeing it for the first time on the stages and in the pits-it is ugly !! Very tall, long, five doors, this is no WRC, sorry guys.....The sound is the only thing, which drew my attention. For the moment Re&Pedersoli&Michelini have nothing to be afriad of (speaking for Mini).
Again, congrats to Felice&Mara.

Cavallini was very good , but I didn't imagine a time difference as big as this . Where ever I watched , Pedersoli was much slower than them . About the Mini , it's extremely ugly , really a pain to watch , but the sound is very nice :) I'd prefer to watch this than a Focus . Also , I must say a very good drive by Roberto Scopel in a C2 S1600 , wherever I was he went really fast . Tagliapietra went very good . I don't know if it's because I saw it for the first time , but the DS3 R3T really FLIES . Was a fantastic Marca , when you have 11 WRCs with really great drivers , you can't go wrong :)
So I see Corrado Fontana finished 8th, over 6 minutes behind the winner. Does that mean that Mini WRC is not only ugly, but also slow?
Tomorow morning, monday, will be published official entrylist of rally Targa Florio ;)

Nice entrylist at the Targa Florio :)
Behind Ucci and Rox(both on another planet), Scandola and Chentre will have a terrible run for their money with the locals Riolo and Runfola :D
No idea about Perico and Cunico though(their level on that event)
Start SSS Targa Florio this evening
Rally FICr
Good luck to Paolo & Anna http://www.motorsportforums.com/images/icons/spin2.gif
ROX is doing a perfect rally... but it will be like a impossible mission to keep Ucci behind him.
Well... ROX is keeping Ucci behind... but they are really really close... really nice battle!
Yep :)
Disaster ABARTH !!!!! Engine of Rox Grande Punto broke down when he was starting dominating Ucci(+11" after SS6), forcing him to retire
"Old" Franco Cunico has still some resources in him, very fast on that Targa Florio(he should remain 3rd overall after notional times that will be given to most drivers) :)
Now it is really a Peugeot cup with 9 Pug's in the top 10. :(
Abarth can still keep up with 207, at least on Italian tarmac & with Rossetti behind the wheel.....Petty for Roxsy's retairment, it would a very interesting second day....it remains only a formality for Andreucci.
But more important I wish fast recovery to Maurizio Angrisani and his co-driver Marco Pollicini, they survived heavy impact with their evoX on special nb.4, this was also the reason for suspension of this stage.
It wasn't mentioned here , that Gianpaolo Tosi , known for driginv a Subaru Impreza WRC 08 lately , passed away ...
