The 7th round of Polish championship is Rajd Dolnoslaski. It will be organised on the beautiful stages of Lower Silesia this Friday and Saturday.

Rajd Dolnoslaski is a nice event with beautiful stages that were used on the Rally of Poland years ago.
You can see the stages on Raven's photos from last year:

After winning the title Kajto decided to skip this event and spend the saved money on one foreign rally. Unfortunately he doesn't want to say which one.
I'm sorry, but I have absolutely no idea how I can post the link to photo gallery correctly. Who wrote this software?!
Andreas Aigner on Peugeot 208? rather surprising!

What are the technical details of this 208 proto? Is it comparable with a homologated car?
If it's same car as one or two years back than it's basically an Evo X in smaller bodyshell (if I remember right).
Yes, as far as I know Dytko's proto car is based on Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. Suspension, transmission system and engine come from that car. Dytko wants such cars to compete in the "Open" class in Polish championship next year. I am personally not sure if it makes sense. If you want to buy it, the cost is 49000 €. Are you interested? ;)

Interesting, thank you - never heard of that.
yes, it is Peugeot 208 like bodyshell, with Lancer Evo X components - engine, drivetrain with sequential gearbox, etc.
Could be quite interesting class of Proto cars next year in polish champs.
a vw polo proto was the same as 208?
I think it was a similar concept. Dytko was driving Polo Proto in the European Hillclimbing Championship and then he sold it to some driver in Spain.
I must say that I dont like this Proto cars from Dytko. It has no chance to use abroad. He was happy to sell his car to Spanish championship, I have seen that car on Canarias last year. I think it is good for media hype, but thats all. I will rather see the drivers in internationally homologated cars, which can start on most of events regurarly.
Season in Poland is finished.
Kajetanowicz was not present so Habaj (evo9 R4) won in front of Kuchar (207), Chuchala (Impreza R4), Rzeznik (207), Gryc (207).
Oleksowicz was really fast but broke the suspension on Saturday morning. Aigner with Dytko 208 Proto drove only one day, as then he has dome duties for Yokohama. When it was dry he was setting some decent times (as for standard evo10 engine, standard fuel, not top dampers, etc.), when it was wet and muddy he said it was pretty difficult to drive as car was too stiff, etc. and they didn't have enough time before rally to do proper testing.
Nice to see that Lukasz Habaj won!
Yes, it was a well deserved victory for Lukasz Habaj. The final classification of the 2013 Polish championship can be found here:

Hankiewicz was driving lets say decently. During first day he crashed, but Delta Rally managed to repair the car for second day.
Car was not top level, he was not fully happy with it, mainly with engine power. He set great time on second pass of city super special as he was the last car which drove in dry conditions.
Let's be honest. The driver was not top level too, so everything fits ;)Quote:

First of all, rally sprints are not popular in Poland at all, so I'm very happy that something like that was organized here. The event was held on the former stages of Rally Poland that were used in the nineties. The special moment of the event was an attempt to set the new record of the famous Sobotka - Sulistrowiczki stage. The original record was set in the nineties by the legendary Partick Snijers and his Ford Escort in Bastos livery. In order to bring back the memories of the old champions G4 prepared replicas of some top cars from the history:
the Bastos Ford Escort of Patrick Snijers
the Boxy's Ford Sierra of Robert Droogmans
Mercedes-Benz of Peter Rumpfkeil:

and the European Championship winnner - Enrico Bertone's Toyota Celica Turbo 4WD:
http://i.hoga.pl/rajdy/galeria/2013/13_ ... rny/32.jpg
Snijers' time turned out to be too good to beat. Grzegorz Grzyb and his Skoda Fabia S2000 were 5 seconds slower.
Results of the rally sprint:
1. Grzegorz Grzyb, Skoda Fabia S2000
2. Tomasz Kuchar, Peugeot 207 S2000
3. Jasper van den Heuvel, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X

it's friendly event which ends the season in PL. Drivers from rallying, racing, hillclimbing, rallycross take part in it.
This year around 15kms of stages.
Dariusz Polonski in a 208 R2 for polish championship campaign :)
Yes, Polonski was a very good driver some 5 years ago, drove many FWD cars in a proper way (see photos below), so it's good to see him back in the championship.

Another important comeback in the Polish championship will be the famous Tomasz Czopik. Polish champion from 2003 is going to drive Skoda Fabia S2000 and says that his budget for the season is 99% confirmed. I don't remember how many times he announced his retirement from rallying. He simply can't stand sitting at home ;) He made a small comeback last year, drove Mitsubishi in a few rallies (see photo), but this time he prepares something much bigger. Great!

The new driver in Subaru Poland team will be Lithuanian champion Dominikas Butvilas. He competed in Poland last year on Barborka Rally with his Mitsubishi:

What is going to be with Chuchala?
He will continue in RSMP with better car ;)Quote:

Oleksowicz have R5 some weeks ago, he rolled with him in one test session.
