It's a real shame someone doesn't make all these neat models in 1/43. They would own the entire diecast market. OTOH, how big the "market" is another story.

Oxford Diecast 2008 Vectra

Just looking on Oxford Diecast's website, looks like both the 2007 and 2008 Vectra's will be out in August now :( But they now have a picture of the Tom Onslow Cole's 2008 Car, so looks like they might will be doing all 3 cars from this year. Can't wait!

From what I can work out from their site, the 2007 Vectra of Giovanardi is out this month, and the the 3 VXR 2008 models are out in August.

I was hoping they were going to improve that rear wing before release, but it doesn't look like they have. :(

I just thought I would mention that on the trax website there were Ford Sierras of Rob Gravett 1990 BTCC champion car 30 quid. Also Andy Rouse Ford Cosworth 1987 and 1989 from Silverstone made by Trofeu. Also SEAT Leons are being made from 2006 WTCC so hopefully BTCC models will be made in the short term future

Giovanardi 07 Vectra

Just had email confirmation from Oxford for my order being processed, so hopefully should have the model by the end of the week.

I also see Grand Prix Legends still have it as a pre-order @ 14.99, whereas Oxford have it to buy now and for only £9.99 plus £2.95 postage. I think GPL do a price match if anyone has pre-ordered from there.

I know that Scalextric are a different scale to most other cars but the detail is very good especially if you're not too bothered about the scale.

dont know on release dates also one of Mat Jackson's sponsors is looking at getting Mat's beemer done as a limited edition. spoke to the marketing guv'nor in February and they are looking at doing more BTCC/WTCC cars so that probably means beemers and seats
