Mads have another problem beside puncture for sure... too slow pace as for just puncture. Ogier did "a normal stage" with that kind of punctures in a past
17sec to go for Mads... he cut 7.9sec on prev. stage to Huttunen and now Lopez cut 7.1sec on this stage = 15sec . So it's doable gap. It will be quite a run for next two stages for Mads... Fight goes on!
Mads kept it nicely after the finish line and nursed car nicely. I think a lot of drivers are holding this kind of reactions back and maybe it should not be streamed then - but this IS rally. He made hard work to fight back previous loss, reached that goal and it all was taken away again with puncture. He let the emotions out, maybe should just skip the stage end interview part but personally I don't mind - if stage end interview is meant to get pure emotion and reaction, you got it. If you don't like it, don't go and ask or watch. Simple as that.
And Bulacia's interviews are like high-school esseys, with the same structure and organized. Some calm description + "Thank you" at the end. Nice own style :)
Will it start to rain for some late drama?
High five for Mads finally being the first driver to have the balls to say it loud about pirelli.
With Mads it's like this with almost every team. (C3, Fiesta in Prokops team before that...).
But I am not so sure there actually are more issues or whether it's that he is open about them. For example Ogier doesn't even mention he just crashed into a civilian car and ran from police (Croatia Sunday first SS).
He has some hope to catch up, especially if it starts to rain. Question is if he will risk it and also if he took 6 tires or 5 today.
