I think it's on the Hamiltons Folly stage but it's definitely not the Folly itself. Different jump. I think the shot of Ahlin above my post is from the Folly.

Do you mean in terms of access, marshalling, speccy pens etc?

Watching the tv pictures I've never seen fans in Ireland kept so far back from the roads...

Greater safety of course but seems to lack the atmosphere of old.

Maybe the very poor weather had an effect this year though... some horrible conditions for 'Spring time'.

It was fine if you kept away from the main spectator areas, which never really interest me any way. We could walk down the road and pic our own spot on every stage. We got 3 stages on Friday and 4 on Saturday. It was an incredible rally!
