PG Andersson for man of the rally!
If one puts his achievements in perspective, this result is really a big breakthrough.Quote:

what is sad is that i did not see a single marshal doing their job properly.
This year we have decided to miss Col de Turini (without snow it is not so good, also atmosphere this year isnt like in last years) and went into second stage, downhill hairpins from Col St. Roch approx. 5 kms before finish. I must say, it is first time on this rally, where almost all cars were spectacular (WRC cars including). Good finish of this rally for us, after our experience from this year stages we have decided not to visit powerstage...
In fact You are wrong. Majority of the stage is looking exactly like it was on the simulcam. The part with ice is a small road starting only 8 km before finish. Of course it was the decisive part but You can't make simulcam from road under trees.Quote:

Arzeno-Jamoul :(
From my experience from NORF 2011 it can. Not so often but in the woods without any problem. I was on several places there with no marshals or tape around. But it's true that Monte is very crazy example because it happens almost everywhere.Quote:

I think Simulcam is brilliant - much better than previous years' animation simulation  And the joys of not having to listen to Paul King is the icing on the cake!
It's easy to fault them but I say cut them some slack. Some of you here are so ungrateful for what you have (highlights every evening) and beat down on the promoter in a very difficult situation with TV coverage at the moment.
Driver of the rally: you really can't fault Loeb but my hand goes to Petter and Sordo for keeping us somewhat entertained. Particularly to Petter for charging on after the problems.
Any live link to today's power stage?
On his way back to service, Petter Solberg has been arrested by the police for overtaking on uninterrupted white line....
Live? =(
Any conseqentions or just a money fine ?Quote:

3rd point scoring finish in a row for Novikov. He is getting his confidence back.
But was there not some ice/snow around on those stages last year? Maybe only on the top?Quote:
