And also Illegal Recce makes that even worse, here in Belgium it's more of a virus. Lot's of pilots do it from top level to bottom level.Quote:

It would be difficult to speak like that in a moment something serious happen. There is some hope such day never comes but You never know and court won't think that way You do. That's also fact because it happened elsewhere.Quote:

Don't get me wrong, I don't speak about this particular incident I have no knowledge about. I reacted on Your post no.1744.
If I was hit by Latvala I would feel honoured!
in mtv3 article JML says that accident happened around 60km/h and he was the one who was driving too much to the centre of the road. The woman reportedly was very upset, because journalists have twisted her words in swedish press.

Many drivers become best in their home country, in just this way and do not understand that it is precisely this fact that they can not manage to follow the speed when they come to the WRC.
I would say that this is the biggest problem with newcomers to the WRC.
They are very talented as drivers, but is not close to understanding how good they should be on the notes, to keep up with the top.
This is also something we should take into consideration, when we criticize such as Ott Tanaka or any other newcomers.
Hahahah, you're crazy.Quote:

Just watched the 3 days of the rally on Youtube (thanks WRCforeva).
I think the organisers of Rally Sweden should be thanked for arranging these pictures so quickly. Organising a rally of this scale is a huge task, but then all of a sudden being dumped with the TV coverage as well with only days noticed is another massive hurdle.
Well done to them. Did they secure the 300,000 Euro needed or did they make a loss?
Not many HD videos coming from Sweden like normally...Too cold to film? I need my fix!
Where are these fantastic photos from?Quote:

Nice videos. If you see that jump on stage 13 Frediksberg, you see that the WRC cars do better jumps than the S2000 cars. I never realised it's such an big difference.Quote:

Not being fast in their own country creates a problem to find sponsors to an international career.
That's why i considerer that a weak ASN creates a big trouble to everyone in terms of illegal recce.
I know! :DQuote:

Back from the stages and the service park in Sweden, nothing special to say. Only surprising thing was Loebs continuing problems with snowrallies( but he`s the best everywhere else so it`s forgivable..)
About the cars, all seem quit equal now regarding the engines, Citroen and Ford have clearly better suspension setups for this surface but guess the Minis are at the top (or close) on tarmac!
What else is there to say than that Latvala basically controlled the event and had speed in reserve when needed.
Also noticed that Proton nowadays runs on Reigers i thought they ran on Proflex earlier, not sure though. And the factory Skodas(VW) still run on Reiger(at least the shells) but this is probably due to classifications.
VW Škodas were on Reiger? Are You sure? In RMC they were on Sachs (red cartridges). I'm very surprised if that is true because I heard new Sachs dampers were homologated by škoda for VW at 1st January...
Proton has used Reiger since Canarias 2011. before they used Dynamic.
EDIT: Photo from Sweden, I would bet it is Sachs...
