I work for a public transport mob! and I can't imagine moving that amount of people! But our trains do run mostly at 98% on time!! ;)Quote:

Unlike that Hamilton guy, Stoner actually won the title! And at the age of 21. I'd say thats a pretty big breakthrough, considering how often he binned it in 2006.
The fact he didn't get it is even more confusing considering Amelie Mauresmo won the award in 2007, seven years after her first grand slam final.
Now as for the World Sportsman of the year...
It seems like a bit of a joke when Rossi, yet alone the now dominant Stoner, never won the award (after only 3 nominations after dominant MotoGP years), when Formula 1 drivers are nominated despite winning championships by only 1 solitary point.
... or in the case of 2007, being nominated despite not actually winning the title, pretty much a sympathy nomination in the grand scheme of things.
Gah!
...
Now of course,
None of this will matter at the end of 2008, when Stoner wins his second title. (Based on that 1.3 second M-award gap amongst everything else)
:p :
Now in other news... when does this season start?? :D
F1 is probably "worth" more than MotoGP!!
The season doesn't start soon enough!!
But according to my Valentino Rossi calendar!! the first race is 9th March at Qatar..
Well, I am off to Macau for the weekend to look after some business. I hope you all enjoy the WSBK round 1, (I never get to see it :bigcry: ), and I hope the forum will kick into overdrive as a result. See you in a couple of days
I'll trade!! You stay here and watch the 1st race and I'll go to Macau :pQuote:

I will be going next year for sure. I managed to get all my business done in one day, so I came straight back home. I don't really enjoy Macau, except for the live girly show at one of the Casinos, though, I only bet $20, (that's my self enforced limit), it's worth it. The main reason I go to Macau is to renew my visa, and to buy foreign foods that I can't get in China.Quote:
