Btw where is everyone, all still sleeping.
Morning, everbody. Of course I was sleeping, only maniac obsessives get up that early on a Sunday morning ;)
Nice to see I was right that it didn't matter where JML was on the road for Sordo - he will never be a threat on gravel. So Seb to get another 15 seconds back on Terra Alta then maybe just the odd second here and there on the second runs. JML finally showing great maturity on this rally :D
As for Paddon he is definitely driving to orders. He will be doing his reputation no harm
Re: Rally RACC España Catalunya
I guess the other thing to be considered is that when someone gets what is basically a guest drive you (a) don't bin it and (b) don't head off a works car. You just go with the program and do as instructed.
If he had been expected to run for a result then I am sure Hayden would had had a totally different test program set for him. This event is a test for him in more ways than one.
Re: Rally RACC España Catalunya
SS12 is gravel & asphalt, does anyone know how much is gravel and how much asphalt? And how is it distributed through the stage?

Tarmac section is in the middle of the stage, I don't know exact length of it but I'd would say approx 1/7th of the stage ie some 5 kilometers or so.

7km asphalt starting from 16th km (WRR)
Re: Rally RACC España Catalunya
Thanks jonkka. More info from rally radio now - asphalt is 8km starting from the 17th km.

Carl, quit while you have some dignity. No, we don't know the brief. Nor do we know the quality of the car. But by any stretch of the imagination this is a disappointing result. mostly because most of us know that he is capable of competing. Paddon had nothing to win here but plenty to lose. Would you sign him to any kind of contract on this performance?
Re: Rally RACC España Catalunya
Dani's losing it. Ogi has already taken half of his deficit to JML.

at the end of the stage seems that dust appears again.
