Still no more news that you haven't heard.

The Ford offer I said earlier is still on the table (I for one, and my mate, have no idea why it isn't signed/announced!)

A C4 deal has been rumoured in the press, but he knows nothing about that. He did say this morning, however, that he personally hasn't had any more contact with Petter or any of his representatives. This could have been a good sign as it was all done, but it looks like it may be a delay or another offer?

I trust more your friend than those rumours in this case. Ford just sounds more realistical than C4. Marcus' didin't want to compete against Loeb (altough he was apprently very near to do), Loeb didin't want to think about Subaru few yeras ago and so on. I just don't believe that Petter is so optimistic that he could parallel or beat Seb from little weaker position. Instead I believe that in Ford Petter can beat official drivers even from marginally weaker position.

It is reported today that Rally Norway is reading the FIA rules in detail, to see if it is valid to sign up without a certain car decided. No conclusion yet to that. Hopefully, he can announce something tomorrow, in time? I wish..

They just need to make a call over the border to Bertil Klarin to know that. He has been in this situation a lot of times before, with Daniel C among others :)
