Yes, as Mirek says the Proton's engine has always been Renault-derived, so this will not have an impact on what rally car Kubica can drive. However, Lotus bought a stake in the Renault branded F1 team which will now be "Lotus-Renault" and the parent company of Lotus are also the parent company of Proton so don't be surprised to see him in a Proton S2000 in the future!Quote:
