We also celebrate Old Nicolae on 6 December. I use to surprise my coworkers with chocolates ""left by the oldie in my boots for my colleagues'' and my boss with a stick left by the oldie for the naughty one. :p

Not really. I have had an almost skin head when I was young, but now I have bushy head of hair, without it being long.

I was at work studying some boring papers. Had to stay till 8p.m. Hate it.....

In the place where you live are extra hours paid?
I suppose you mean overtime for work? Well it depends on what your position is. What we call general workers (construction staff, store clerks etc) get paid for extra hours worked but generally speaking managers don't get overtime as they are already paid well enough in our country.

What would you rather be doing right now if you had the day off work?
I need some peace of mind as just 5 minutes ago the head of our department was shouting at us like Tarzan. I'd be happy if I could go outside and spend just 5 minutes on a bench. I think today I'll give up and jump from the window.

No, I don't give a continental about fashion. There is no such thing as fashion. You wear what you like and what makes you feel comfortable, warm, cool etc. I go nuts when I see people spending thousands of bucks on cr@p just because it's the "in thing" now. Why o why do people care what others think? Life is too short! Get a life and put on your favourite clothes not the ones that other people think you should be wearing!!!! Be an individual, not a sheep! <rant over> :p:

I could say I've never been in your bed, but..... :D
There is the odd morning when lying in bed with a good book and fresh coffee seems really appealing, but usually by the time I have made the coffee, other people in the house are up and about and going back to bed with a book never seems to happen.
DO you prefer to stay up late or get up early, if it was your choice, not because of work?
I stay up until about midnight every night and I'm up by 4:30 - 5:00 in the morning. 5 hours is all I need, anymore and I get grumpy. I can't see how people can waste their lives sleeping for 8 or 9 hours a day. That's over a third of your life wasted, gone, 33% of your life spent doing nothing! The only time I'll sleep longer is if I've had a bender the day before :p:
Do you sleep in total pitch black darkness or do you have some form of light in your bedroom at night?

My bedroom is set on a corner and has windows on 2 walls. One of them is right under a street lightning pole so I always have light. During winter I sleep in a room with a window to the inner court so it's completely darkness. I guess I can sleep no matter how conditions are.....

No never. There is a solution to every situation, you just have to find it. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's difficult, but it is always there ready to be found :)

I'm a medium overall. My shirts are getting a bit tight around the arms and chest area as I have been doing my summer mass building sessions 5 days a week now so may need to get some larges soon to be comfortable :)

Did you have a nice weekend?
Yes I did have a fantastic weekend. Got to spend time with my kids, watched some great rugby on the telly, had a braai with my family, got a bit of time to talk to the love of my life ( my car not my wife :p: ) so it was a great weekend thanks :)
Did you have a good start to your working week?
No. I dream of the day when just one of the stupid pieces of work I have to do will not be labeled as "urgeeeent".
How many hours do you work/day?
10 or 11 hours a day normally from either 7 - 5 or 6 - 5 depending on when I want to get to the office and if I have to drop my kids at school.
What is your ideal job?
Something related to art. I'd like to work for an art gallery, a book shop, a movie production, a cultural institute....
A job where I could meet refined and good mannered persons.
Are you doing the job you wanted to do?
No. I wanted to be a school teacher, went to uni got a degree in Education then decided I didn't want to be a teacher. Later I got a second degree in IT. I have also trained as a swimming coach and coached with some success i.e. having swimmers qualify for National finals and even win National medals. As with many sports coaching jobs, politics often get in the way, the club I coached and another local club decided to combine, and for reasons not related to coaching, the other club demanded that their coach was employed ahead of me. I would like to go back into coaching, but it would have to be for my own swim school etc, so the political crap can't raise it's head.
There are renovations going on in the office space immediately below where I work, the noise is tooth rattling loud. Do loud noises drive you up the wall?
Yeah! !!!!!! I had a club near my house and it drove me crazy. But God is good and helps those in need and finally the bankruptcy hit it. :p
Then there's a gypsy family who play their horrible music very loud and let their stupid kids shout in the street at impossible hours. At work I have a few colleagues who talk all the time on very high tones. Yeah, a high level of decibels makes me mad.
Do you buy second hand clothes?
If it is something slightly unusual I have been known to. I got a great leather bomber jacket, that looked new from a charity shop, it cost me $50 instead of $350. Both my parents are retired and work on a voluntary basis in a Hospice shop, mum is always picking things up that she thinks I or the family would like. In my job I often make my clients/trainees look in charity shops, to find decent clothes that can be worn in interviews etc.
Do you read your local news paper?
Not anymore. There are only a few journalists that I like. There was a time when they were invited at TV talk shows but these days the programs have a too political orientation.
Last year I used to read some tabloids at work, just to kill the boredom and to tease a coworker. I don't do it anymore, our so called VIP-s are a laugh......
The weird thing is that every morning I take the free newspaper from the subway but never read it. I just find it in my bag next morning and throw it away...
Do you like to watch TV?
Yes and no. I like good TV, but I can't stand these awful reality programs, the worst are these no hope talent shows like America's Got NO Talent etc, I'd rather be hung from my toes.
Are you interested in the WInter Olympics?
Not really if I'm honest :p: I will watch a bit but it wont faze me if I don't!
