Raikonnen samw time as al quassimy...Solberg attacks.
Back from the first day. We went early to shakedown to get to the place we had recced, and it was totally worth it. It was at the same straight of jumps that someone already posted pictures from. Nice shady place, also, you know, this has been THE hottest day ever in Finland, thought that was in eastern Finland, but we got well along in Jyväskylä region as well.
Ford drivers attack, that's for sure. and apparently it was fast as well, haven't checked much shakedown times yet though. On third runs both Hirvonen and Latvala landed on the nose, but on the fourth run both landed okey. I asked Mikko about, and he said it was how he drove the place, not with setups or so. Other Fords - no competion.
Citroen's did well of course. Petter Solberg was most spectacular, but perhaps not the quickest. It'll be interesting to see what kind of times Sebs, Sordo and Petter will set. In the service park Sordo was absent, at least I didn't any of him. Ogier was like he was meant to be on the factory seat. Sebs and Petter were really relaxed.
Then the S2000s. They come in numbers, but you can tell who are the real drivers. Nasser Al-Attiyah is perhaps a flight pilot, he's jumps were just crazy. For a first timer that could prove to be a non-finish. Hopefully not. Then Hänninen and Ketomaa. Hopefully it'll be a close fight, but I think Ketomaa wins it by far. Rantanen, PGA and Sandell were okeyish as well.
Now some rest, it's not that many hours before start to Urria stage.
Solberg wins the mini stage...real rally tommorow.
Thats for sure a good new!!! Respect to Peter!Quote:

I got his message - and if you read this CrazyLeo, this is a reply - and unfortunately I can't. I'm a passenger myself, and like you can imagine on a tight schedule. There are some bus rides to Fridays and Saturdays stages from Service Park, so the situation isn't hopeless, I hope. More info on the spectators guide.Quote:

At above, I was also thinking. Being first on the road is never good right?
