Who's that guy Nobre? Didn't hear about him...
You should have listened to WRR during Monte Carlo then. The guy is funny (and slow) as hell.

the proton guys sound pretty optimistic about the engine. but what i just dont understand is, what do they want with mcrae? i mean...nothing against him, but wouldnt there be much better options?
i´m defenetly exited on what pg will do, he was good at monte and also pretty good at this finnskog rallye. i hope he can battle with mikkelsen ;)
McRae does have a LOT of experience. And has a lot of connections in Australasia (he lives in Oz now), so is probably a good option for a manufacturer based down there. Plus I don't imagine they have to pay him a huge amount as he isn't as famous/sort after as someone like Ogier or Sordo?Quote:

McRae has been with the Proton program from day one and the Malaysians are loyal to those who support them, without McRae they wouldn't of secured the Manufacturers APRC title for Proton,
Anyone care to give a brief synopsis of the conversation? Was that a journalist? He sure was working hard to act as if he was on a Sunday drive!

I think he means that they had to change the venue for the tests due to snow in the area they had selected before. I've been to this tests and there is no snow at all.Quote:
