Of course he can do more by improving the marketability of the series. Even the somewhat moribund Dakar attracted a new manufacturer in Audi with a sustainability ploy. The WRC should be exploiting their new "hybrid" rules, the "cleanliness" of electric antilag, their new synthetic fuel, etc, but instead they're going "don't expect any new manufacturers anytime soon", as if holding up their hands and relieving themselves of responsibility should the series continue declining.Quote:
